    Let's Talk/Rate Mojaves?
I'm having a really hard time finding the mojaves I want. I'd like a reduced animal with half-or-more dorsal striping and while I really enjoy the black/gold/green mojaves, my current project plans are light morphs so I should probably stick to the red/brown ones for now as I can't quite afford the more intensely colored examples. (Does that make a big difference to you? Personally, I like mojaves more for markings than color so long as they retain contrast.)

I'm waiting for a reply to see if this one is still available since he is very affordable, but do you think he'd be a good addition to try and produce my own cleaner mojave stock?

Lessers and Mojaves and the prospect of BELs is what got me into bps, and mojave combos remain my favorite and never disappoint. I wan't to know what you guys like about your own mojaves and what you look for in other's examples. Pics are great! I know it's a more common morph nowadays, but there is still such incredible variability in whats available and it's hard to agree on what's desirable. Let's talk good old mojaves!

And business related, If you have one available up my alley, male or female, I am actively in search this week.

I love the example in photo 3 here - super reduced with a full stripe. I've never seen another mojo like it and it's what I really want someday.

I'm sure you can find one, but the asking price may be higher than normal.

If you're looking into producing really nice mojaves do check out brian gundy's gold blush mojaves. You would think there's something extra in his single gene mojaves. But if you're looking for bels and such it really doesn't matter.

I would really like to produce my own super mojave for both a pet and for breeding that throws the pattern I like for future mojave combos. Maybe a waste of time to those with more start up money, but I'm not into gene stacking and would rather spend my years with ball pythons perfecting a few favorites.

I probably wouldn't have use for a male after a season or two, but I'd be happy to place it as a pet. I am still thinking if it's worth the money, though, I know.

I don't know what combo I would look for right now.

I'm interested in making a couple bels for breeders, yes, but with the intent to combo later. I hadn't seen these and you are right, they are incredible. Thank you so much!! I imagine it'll be hard to find one, but I'll save to work with quality lines like this.

I don't know how much start up money you have but I did pick up a breeder gold blush male from him for 500. I would imagine his hatchling males would go for something similar give or take, but at that rate you're essentially paying for bel male money which double your odds when working with the mojave complex itself. But, they are really really nice mojaves in person and in picture since I've seen both.

There's is no shortage of nice selective bred Mojaves available.

my point is the market is overrun with regular Mojaves. Try to shoot for a combo so you're not just making more my Mojaves that are hard to rehome.

Even a male BEL only contributes the Mojo gene and still is not a great breeder.

    I'm looking, thank you!

Are mojaves really that difficult to move, however? Are supers still desirable?

    Let's Talk/Rate Mojaves?
low end single gene stuff isn't easy to move.

The Best BELs are made combing two genes like Mojo and Butter. this way when you breed it you get no normals plus combos of each with whatever the other breeder contributes.

I have never produced a BEL (they're not exciting to me) but I have a Proven Breeder female for sale I haven't got any hits on. well one trade offer...

Okidoke so another one to add to the list. I'm trying to click away from the page of a particular female on your site, but I think I'm going to hold out and see what you put up for the 2014 season. That pastave is smoking. Ah. This obsession has no limits.

I personally like the darker mojaves with some contrast. Black, grey, and light lemon yellow is all this guy is and I love it
