interesting information find

Has anyone heard of Snakebytes on youtube? I was browsing looking for new animal planet snake shows to watch and happened across it, there seems to be LOTS of great information along with some fun goofy stuff... and a big doofus that gets bit alot... on purpose... just thoughts Id ask and share! :D:D:D:snake:

LOL, that's Brian from BHB Reptiles. He's a large breeder and a really good guy. He's been around the biz for quite a while now. He's a member of BP.net, and chimes in once in a great while.

I stumbled upon his youtube about a couple months back, I really love his channel and want to actually get a snake from him some time soon. :D And it's awesome to hear that he's on this forum too.

I've been subscribed to his channel for a little over a year now. I look forward to the new episode each week. I purchased my Lesser female from him.

Yea... I saw and episode where they mentioned this site just after I made the post. I'm loving it... learning lots and now am on a mission to expand my collection. I'm thinking some cool morph next.

he has a really big breeding operation, is present at a really large number of reptile shows, and produced several stunning world first morphs in a number of different species.

and his youtube channel SnakeBytesTV has 47 million views, making it the biggest in the entire hobby/industry.

so its safe to say that he is the most famous and well-known breeder.

The BEST thing about that show is that Brian is just as sweet and goofy and personable in real life as he is on the show. If you ever run into him at an expo or just see him out and about, don't hesitate to say "HI" to him. He loves people!

Naa Brian is a really good guy and most of us old timers have been watching since the first episode..Back when he was still "Geting a website together" :D

Totally agree. I was talking with one of his staff (I was much too nervous and fangirling on the inside to talk to him lol). The staff answered my question and then Brian approached me and also answered it and we talked a bit about my breeding plans. My three gene male will be purchased from him whenever I can save that kind of money. I was so bummed because at the expo he'd knocked off over 1k of his price tag, but of course I didn't have that budget for the show at the time.

We began watching them and started to enjoy them. However, my complaint is there are way to many episodes that the "beep" button needed to be used constantly. Regardless if the words are spoken it still requires explaining to the kids. For that reason I have not allowed my son to watch it any longer.

I'm a subscriber and I have a lot of them that I saved into my "informative-watch again" folder lol. I'd be a truly happy camper if they were 30 mins each. A lot of people who post videos apologize for long videos but I'd gladly carve out a larger chunk of time for BHB each week!

I am in the process of watching them all... I only got my first snake for christmas, well, got my husband a snake. Until then I have been afraid of them my whole life, since then, I have gotten my own ball and we are planning to get 2 more in a couple weeks when tax money comes in... its safe to say i am addicted now! we are getting ready to buy a house and even plan to have a big snake room just so we can get lots more snakes!

ps... totally just fangirled cause brian posted here... my husband is laughing at me! :D
