Trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm excited!!!
So after 9 months of living with my mother-in-law me and my soon to be wife might actually be able to move out again! I'm not hating on her mom at all....because she truly is a better mother to me than my own, but with the new baby in the house and different raising techniques between mother and grandmother brewing I think it's time to move along. :please:

We found a decent single wide for sale by people we are friends with and are currently trying to get the money together to be able to buy it! It's nothing fancy by any means, but something that could be paid off in the next 5 years...has 3 bedrooms, technically 2 baths even though the master bath is gutted for remodel....WHICH I may just be able to convince the wife to turn into a snake room so the 3rd bedroom can still be just that.

So with that being said I am excited, well we both are...fingers crossed we can get the money!

Like I said I don't want to get my hopes up, but I just needed to let out a little excitement. :)

I may finally be able to get back into snakes if all goes as planned....boy have I missed the hobby and all you guys and girls on here!

    Regards,
    Kevin

I wish you the best of luck. It's really nice to have a place to call your own. I understand your excitement. I even cried at my housewarming party. Lol!

Thanks! We had a small 2 bedroom apartment before she got pregnant, but when she got taken out of work because of house sick she was I wasn't able to afford all our bills, plus rent. Now that she is starting to work again and I have been at the same job for almost 16 months we are ready to get out on our own again.

    Regards,
    Kevin

Well we went and looked at it again. I will be going to a few banks/Credit Unions to see if I can get the money for it.

Fingers crossed because we really want it!

Here is a link to a few pictures of it, like I said it needs some work and it's nothing fancy, but it will be ours!

I know the feeling I had to move back in with my mother last year. I am hopefully going to be moving with my boyfriend in a few months.
Good luck on the house and congrats on the new baby!

Good luck to you and hope everything works out. We are in a similar but different situation. My mother-in-law moved in with us a few years ago. She is getting up in her years and it just wasn't good for her to be on her own. It can be challenging when more then two adults have to occupy the same home. However, it's a blessing to have family to turn to when you're need it.

Very true, we do love her mother to death. It's just time to move on.

Alright thanks for the heads up. We are hoping to be in by the first of the month. Hoping this storm with let up enough to make it to lowes today to price some flooring and bathroom goods since the master bath has been gutted.
