This coming weekend- Baltimore Repticon

Ok...just wanted to know whos going?!?!?

The bf and I are taking his daughters for their first reptile convention/show...hopefully they'll love it!!

We will be there (Kodie and I). We wont be vending and we will probably be yelling at a certain vendor who scammed us over a year ago. :P

I'm there! convinced the boyfriend to tag along!

Cool...well hope to run into some of you...Ill have a gray spyder pull over on...and with a guy that looks former military with two young girls with us!

Got to pass, we have plans this weekend. Plus I can't purchase anything else for a while, as a little Tarahumara girl will be entering QT once the weather warms up enough to make shipping safe again.

We aren't looking for anything in particular. You never know what will turn up at expos. We could walk out with a Boelens or some Uroplatus, you just never know with the expos around here. And of course I have my eye out to add a couple females this year to breeding stock for holdback clown stuff we will produce this spring.

I was there. Picked up an Angolan Python!!!

me and the bf and his kids are going sunday....this expo is more for his 2 young daughters...not looking to buy (i have 4 snakes on the way in february once the weather warms up) but if something does stick out Ill grab it.

anybody take any photos or video?

Quite honestly, there wasnt much there to take photos of on Sunday. We were looking at everything except colubrids, and dart frogs as a possible purchase and didnt see anything there worth it for us. There was three vendors that had some higher end BPs. Leopard Bumblebees, Albino Pieds, firefly leopards, blackhead but other then that not too much.

Agreed with this statement for saturday not a great selection in my opinion the pied i picked out was the nicest snake at the show , besides the few double recessives i saw

Is this cause its an early year thing=cold. Or people havent started hatching yet

A few ppl I spoke with said they would have more later in the year....show was rather empty compared to the Baltimore repticon I went to in May last year....But the bf and his girls had a blast...we only stayed for about 2.5 hrs on sunday and then hit the DC auto show which was a ton of fun!!

There were some nice granite burmese from 2 -3 dealers and 1 guy had some decent non D/SD retics. Overall I would say only about 3-5 vendors had enough snakes for me to sit there and look at/chat with the vendors for extended periods of time. Some decent morphs too...lots of black pastel stuff...decent amount of albino and het combos too...

Any vendors with good selection of colubrids? Milks?
