ASF's Needed
Hello I can't find anyone on the internet who will ship Frozen ASF to (07746- NJ), I am looking to get a trial package to see if he will switch over from mice. I don't want to purchase 10-25-100 like every person keeps asking me to, If he doesn't switch over then I am stuck with a lot of needless ASF's, I would like to buy 2-3 to try it out for him and if he will switch over then I will be more then glad to pick up a decent supply for my ball python. He currently is 190 grams and is a great eater. Thanks I would greatly appreciate a response and someone pointing me in the right direction if they can't help me :)

Re: ASF's Needed
Have you tried Craigslist or Facebook? Maybe you can find a breeder. Are there any reptile shops around that may have them?

Is there any reason why you want to try asfs instead of regular rats? They are alot easier to find frozen or live in bulk or small amounts. Unless of course you already tried rats and failed if so good luck on the asf search

I was recommended for faster growth and healthier overall using ASF's

Re: ASF's Needed
I breed asf's and in NY but I'm in western NY. I don't ship. If you were able to get them or have someone get them I could have a few in a week or two.

I'm in Richmond VA, but that's still pretty far away unless you travel this way often.

Re: ASF's Needed
Honestly, if he's a great eater, I'd keep him on rats. Really, they grow the same as long as you are feeding them an appropriate sized meal. Sometimes, if they switch to ASFs, they don't want to switch back. That's why most people only feed ASFs for a picky eater. Not to mention, if you ever need to sell him, the fact that he'll be an ASF eater can potentially be a turn-off. Since they aren't as readily available, most people don't want to own ASF eaters.
Just keep him on rats. Feed him appropriately every 5-7 days (stay at 7 days when he hits 500g or so) and he'll grow fine.

I would like to remind you that while pointing someone in the right direction is ok, the rest need to be taken to PM, no sale discussion allowed on the forum. (this includes offering or soliciting) :gj:
