Congrats on a good shed. It's a testament to your husbandry and means you're doing a good job!

I just love how they look after a shed. I noticed Soph's eyes are blue today so she should shed soon.....nice picture!!

So, just what is the key! I keep humidity ~60%, temp mid-hi 80's, and she still peels in pieces. Whats you secret?!

congrats on the 1 piece, and judging by the size of your snake, thats extra props because very often the youngins' just tear their sheds to pieces.

    2 more hurricanes being watched...
thanks for all the compliments. :D the day that her eyes cleared up i had my boyfriend hold her for me while i changed her water, and did a little in tank cleaning. she had been shy with him up to that point, but she crawled up around his neck and found that it had some nice rough stubble, so she proceeded to rub her nose back and forth on him trying to get that shed started. needless to say, she is over that shyness and things are all good between them now.

as soon as i noticed her eyes turn blue i upped the humidity to 75-80% and soaked her for about 10-15 minutes on two separate evenings.
