How much do your adult males weigh?

I know that ball pythons weight is highly variant so I thought it would be fun (plus I'm curious) how much do your adult males weigh?

At the moment . . .

2006 male -- 2000 grams (as of Jan 6th)
2009 male -- 1965 grams (Dec 26th)

These two are the sons of the '06 male and full brothers --
2010 male -- 1941 grams (Dec 30th)
Last weigh-in for my fourth adult male, also a 2010 hatchling, was Oct 6th -- 1724 grams

Sorry for old thread bump. Hoping for a few more weigh ins :P on the subject.

Anywhere from 900 to 1500 grams.

My adult male weighs about 1200g but he's been off feed for a while, the most he's ever weighed is about 1400g when he's eating consistently.

Wow that seems really light in comparison.

My adult males are in the 1000-1800g range.

Just for some variety, I have a problem eater 2011 male dinker that weighs about 750. He's been off feed for awhile now, hopefully gets back on soon, the most he ever weighed was 950 or so ( at work so can't see the records)

My biggest male is 1100 grams.

The oldest snake I have is just a yearling, but he weighs 760, empty. Not sure how much bigger I expect him to get, but I'm not too concerned about it. He is one HECK of an eater still, though.

between 800 and 100 grams for my adult males.

My 2008 is just over 1500.

1711g,. That's not an empty weight though, he recently had a large/jumbo multi.

My male is a little over 5 pounds, I've had him 8 years.

100 gram adult might have some issues.....

My only male is a pewter lesser who has been off feed for 3 months and breeding like crazy. Current weight is 1186 gms. He was almost 1300 gms in October.

Wow so my 900 gram male maybe almost full grown then?

He was a year old in November.

My 4 y/o is currently sat at about 1100g.

Since I'm not a big fan of balls, I only have one (he was a rescue<3)

62 inch/just over 5 foot long male, 7 years old, that weighs 2100 grams. Big boy.

Since my boy is 900 at one and a half years old should I expect him to keep growing for awhile or is he about done?

He will get bigger, normally getting to his biggest at 3 or 4, and from there will probably stay at a similar weight. This is dependent on your feeding regime of course.

He's on a small rat every week right now. I wondered because while he's 900 grams already he's pretty slim for a bp, not the normal heavy body I think of. I can still close my thumb and forefinger around his thickest point

I read feeding more each week leads to larger adult sizes but since it was in the internet I assumed it false. Is there any truth to that statement?

That could just be his build. My 4 y/o is feeding on a large weaner on a weekly basis and is heavier than your male. But then again, he is a lot older. Just wait and see how he goes, I wouldn't be worried at all about his weight, 900g is fine.

I am not sure how much truth there is in that statement, but I think that it is better to just stick to his normal size of prey item. Go for a size similar to the widest part of its body and leave it at that. I don't see the need to feed him food bigger than is needed.

I've got about a 1800 gram male who is believed to be an '08(not sure of exact age). He's a mouser and his previous owner warned me to keep good track of his feedings because even on mice he tends to get fat pretty fast, and she wasn't kidding! I imagine he could weight a good bit more, if I really let him eat :P Gotta love those easy keepers:gj:

I purchased a small collection from a guy today (4 BP's and a rack). The "male" bumblebee weighed in at 2617 grams. Me thinks he is a female. lol

I have a 12 yr old normal at 1050g (+/- 25)
I have a 9 yr old pastel at 1100g.

My early 2012 male is about 1100 and still growing.

I've had males up around 1500g before. I personally try to keep my males a little bit leaner - now I am not starving them but I tend to feed males every 10 - 14 days an appropriate meal whereas I will feed the females every 5 - 7 days. I want my males to stay comfortable in 28qt tubs if possible, so they usually hover around 800-1200g.
