NARBC Tinley Park March 15-16 2014!!

I'm super excited! I haven't been to the NARBC in almost a year and a half. I am more than ready and I plan on purchasing a pastel butter/lesser (same thing to me lol).... Will anyone else be attending? If so, what are you all looking to purchase? :D

Potential buyer, but most likely just window shopping. I'll be hanging out at the BHB table.

I'll be there, may be staying overnight but not sure yet. Looking to get some genetic stripe and or pied females. Depends on finances.

This is crazy... I saw your site a few days ago and fell in love with several snakes including the blue eyed lucy and queen bee... Now I'm really excited! Yup, and I got a busy couple weekends. This coming one I have the local monthly show on Saturday, then a big swap meet for my other hobby(radio control aircraft) on Sunday. Then Tinley the next weekend. Definitely not getting a hotel room this time around, again. Just can't bring myself to spend the cash for it when that money could buy me another t-stat or something. That drive will suck though. Wish I had a friend who would split a room with me and the wife, but the only reptile friends I have are online, lol. After all, I am the dumping ground for all the animals the relatives get that they don't want/can't take care of.

Hey should I buy a ticket online right now or wait and get them at the door I've never gone to the reptile expo so Idk lol I'm scared to do it at the door do they sell out? I mean at the door should I buy online print it out show at the door or what appreciate the help thanks!!

Well I'm sold out from last year and my first eggs from this season will still be about 3 weeks away from hatching, my first bp eggs will probably be about 6 weeks from hatching if she stays on schedule...but I'll still be going to hang out and enjoy the show with friends... I'll be helping Tom Harbin and John Woolard vend it, I know they both have some great stuff left from last year!

They don't sell out, usually it's just a matter of saving some money and time in line. Might do this myself if pre-reg is still open tomorrow.

Sorry, just a habit of mine since I attend so many anime and other type conventions. Pre-registration, some times it save some money, almost always at least saves time waiting in line. And it can be a long line if you get there late.

I'be been a total of 7 times, but I've missed the last 3. They've never sold out, but the lines can get really long. I'll probably buy my tickets online just because it can't hurt. I'm actually thinking about doing the VIP on Friday night. I just don't know if I can bring myself to pay $50 :weirdface I want first pick though. Anyone doing VIP??

Not doing VIP this time around, I hope to in October but it will depend on funds and whether or not im staying overnight no real point to it if your day-trippin the show. That reminds me, need to check the weather there. Weather here stinks right now.

Find the main entrance to the show, normally to the right and close to the outside doors there are a row of tables set up where you buy tickets. They also have t-shirts and stuff for sale. If it's before the show opens there will be a line of people waiting to get in too, so possibly 2 line to wait in.

We'll be there tomorrow!

And absolutely buy tickets online. The line is really long to buy tickets there. It's just silly not to buy them online.

Well, the wife made me a liar, she didn't want to deal with the roumd trip in one day so we are at a hotel 40 or so miles out for the night. If your willing to wait the lines are short a couple hours before, but you have to get there way early. We'll be sitting in the line to get in come 8 or 9 local.

I don't know if showing them the email via phone would work. They want you to print a copy of the email you got and then they file it. So I'm pretty sure they need a hard copy.

Haha I thought so. I'm just getting them at the door so my mom is in for a surprise at 9 so is everyone else going with me, I want to get there early get the tickets have the others in the get in line and I come back with the tickets if it's how I it'll be. :3

No they dont need a hard copy, just your name. Standing in line waiting for show open now. And I'm planning on checking out Garric's table, I just didn't want to limitmy options by having my money spent before I got here again.

Bubba is so awesome. I still don't understand how that alligator is so calm. I picked up a really nice lesser pastel... I wanted one that was really clean and yellow & I found it!

Actually came home with no critters other than feeders, made out like a bandit on the free bug samples. Picked up a herpstat 4 and a humidity probe for my snakeroom, and that pretty much killed my budget. Showed my wife what ghi does to other stuff, she said we're getting one in October. We'll see. Saw some stripe stuff at Garrick's table I would have loved to get but just no budget this time. This will likely be my last March show too, taxes don't usually make it this far,and just too much else going on for me money wise this time of year. We actually ended up leaving early since we were both still sick and just ran out of energy by around 2.
