i would still prefer butter/lesser:

on its own or in combos, butter or lesser is just stronger than mystic or phantom, so in my opinion mystic or phantom make most sense when you want to go for non-white super forms and BELs. stuff like mystic potion, purple passion, super phantom.
but its a matter of taste, both combos look really nice. another option would be black pastel mojave.
Thanks. I had forgotten about the phantom being identical to the mystic. After seeing the pic I think that I would have to agree that the black butter/lesser has a more standout look to it. I like the black pastel mojaves also but I don't have a Mojave male to put with her.

Black pastel and Cinnamon stem from the same parent morph, anyway...
the genes are allelic and closely related, but there is a very real color difference between super black pastel and super cinnamon. and that color difference also shows in single-gene black pastels or cinnamons. so i think these are legitimately different morphs, and i would guess they were imported out of africa on different occasions by different people.
when you mix up the genes, you can seperate them again. lets say you breed 8 ball to 8 ball, for 25% super black pastel, 50% 8 ball, and 25% super cinnamon, you can tell them apart and sort it out. thats not true when you breed, for example, lesser butter to lesser butter.

Not sure where you got that info, but they definitely do not come from the same "Parent".
Any pics of your "Black Pastel" Breeder?
Re: Mystic x Black Pastel
They don't stem from the same parent morph. They look similar because the cinny and black pastel gene lay on the same genetic loci. Different morphs, but allelic.
