I had given my now ex, a female RTB. He was doing good taking care of her and everything. Well I found out last night that he had FORGOTTEN about her being in the car. She was left in a bag, inside the car, with temperatures going way over 110. She was there for 3 hours before he remembered her. Needless to say, she died and I am pissed at him for being that stupid.

That's terrible! Temperatures inside a car can easily be 30 degrees F warmer than the ambient air temperature, and that's a lot to ask any animal to deal with. I'm sorry to hear that.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I think its important that we remember that its always hotter inside the car than outside it. That goes for any living thing be it plant or animal.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about that. RTBs can be hardy, but not *that* hardy.
    Poor snake. :(

Man thats awful - I'd go a step beyond djn's suggestions of withholding future snakes and give him a high-colonic with those brewskys.

It's hard to understand how people forget and leave living beings in their cars. Seems like every other week I hear another story about someone leaving their baby in the car down here and 9 times out of 10 the child dies....now that is unbelievable to me! Poor girl, I'm sorry you lost her like that!
