Today i was remodleing the hermit crab cage and the snake cage,I replaced the sand in the hermit crabs cage with eco earth and added some nice new plants and it looks nice next to the nake cage that i added a fish tank backround to.So my question was is it okay to put the tanks that close to echother ? i mean, hermits dont have any parasites or any smell to them (aside from the eco earth which is in the snakes cage too)I am going to post (or try to at least) some pic's tonight so can somebody tell me how to do it real quick. They will be coming off of the digital cam (i dont know if that matters but....

too close ?
i dont see why it would matter really, but thats just me...lol well rex has tryed to eat my dog before...and my dog aint small
-
BP magazines???
lol...i doubt he would try to eat them even if he came into contact with one (which he wont) i dont really let any of my animals come into contact with eachother just think......a snake with a hamster , i dont think that would end up to well.My dogs have already looked at rocky like he was a nice chewy toy to play with, my room is off limits to them all.

lol. my dogs name is rocky...

Cool, ok im sittin here with my dad REALLY confused about this whole posting pictures thing, we made my album and it has one pic in it, we tried to put more but it didnt let us.So if you go to my album you can see my tank set up,check it out and tell me what you think, and if anybody has any tips on putting more pics in the albums please post them here. I already looked at the sticky about posting and making your own albums and it worked but only for one pic. thanks

wuts the message say...try making the pics smaller...are they in .jpeg?
-
and if it does cause some kind of problem, you could always slide some black construction paper between the tanks, blocking the view of them. how long is you BP? should be thinking of a new cage
-
i am close to getting a new cage i was suposed to be buying one tomorrow with the money i made today but...i made no money today. He is 20 inches long .My concern was not about them like...fighting between the glass or anythingthe crabs hide all day , it was more like health stuff like i didnt want to transmit anything to him.The pictures were all the same size and since one worked the others should have too...but they didnt

ohh the message said somthin like 'If you really have uploaded a pic then check to see if the server alows...... i forgot, but that was about it.sorry
-
hmmm...idk then. i dont think anything would be harmfull...their not in contact, after all. what are you plan on buying? if its an aquarium, id say get at least a 30gal. its the minium requirements for an adult ball.
-
yeah i was going to get rid of my fish and put rocky in thier tank (39 gal) but i would miss them too much so ill just buy a nice big 30 or 39 for him .Im lookin forward to decorating it for him and since it is going to be bigger and TALLER i cant wait to buy some vines and stuff and make it look really cool for him, he LOVES to climb and right now if you look at the pics he doesnt have much to climb on exept for that little branch with some leaves on it.

hey brandon i checked out your gallery--the problem is that your photo is too big. we are allowed 500K of space each for our galleries. your pic was over 200K so the when you tried to upload the second pic it must have totalled over 500K. you just need to resize your photos before you upload them. anything 50K or under is a good size and should still be nice and big on the screen. if you need the software to resize i know that people here use xnview. let me know if you need any help. 8)

its a better idea to have floor space. Ball Pythons are terrestrial. they climb when their young, but they dont do much climbing when their adults. might wanna pick floor space. just some food for thought

Brandon, mlededee is right, there is a limit to your total gallery space and there is also a per-image limit on file size. If your image is too large or isn't in one of the recognized formats (I suggest JPG), it won't be accepted. Try using xnview, as she suggested, to resize your pics and upload again.
-
ohhh ok that explains it, thanks alot guys !! i was soo confused.I will resize the pics soon so i can put more. thanks . I know floor space is better but in a 30 gal there is a good amount of it but maybe i can find one that is a little wider than it is taller.
