Bypass Glass Door Track?

Does anyone know the best place to find Bypass Door Track for 1/4" glass/acrylic/plexi doors?



I have found Tan, Black, Grey, and Walnut, but does anyone know where to find white? If white isn't available, best place to find black?



If anyone local to me carries it that would be sweet, but if I need to order online I can, but would rather not due to shipping costs, and time. Plus helping the local economy is always nice.

I would have sworn I had some kind of dual channel aluminum when I ran the Millworks dept @ HD. It looked like l_l_l. And the channels were about 1/4 inch or less.

What department? I scoured that store for like 1hr and a half and couldn't find anything! Lol. It's frustrating!

My vents are black so black would look cool, but so would aluminum!

Finishing up my new enclosures for the snake room. 4 enclosures that measure 4x2x1 stacked, total of 4x2x4. All joints are done with a dado on rear and sides. Can't wait to throw some residents in there!

Should be with the metal stock in hardware/tools. If you're using a router to cut the dado, you could always just put a 1x2 against a fence of some kind and route the channels.

I am a machinist by trade, and if absolutely necessary I could order some plastic and mill slots myself, or even do it out of 6061 or 7025. Shoot stainless would be sweet too lol.

I'd REALLY like to see pics when you get it all done. I have a feeling I'm going to have to build something along the same size for Snakesquatch over here. She's getting WAY bigger for her age than I had expected.

I ordered mine from Rockler, I think they have walnut and black.

That place is DANGEROUS! I absolutely LOVE figured wood. All of my "primary" guitars are either quilted or flamed maple tops, and rockler has SO much!

Lol, I don't really do woodwork but found this site when I built my first enclosure. They have like everything! I was/may get a kit from them and make my own wooden window blinds, idk If I'm up for it though.

If youre doing a wooden cage, make the grooves yourself on the table saw. Thats how we do it. And FYI for you rockler lovers, they have rocklerpro.com for those of you with a business ;)

I was thinking about doing my own grooves with a table saw on my next enclosure, how thick is your wood? I use 3/4" ply, with 2-1/4" grooves that doesn't leave much room.

I use 1" solid wood because with plywood you have to worry about delaminating.

I might just machine some out of 6061 at work. But if I can find some I'm gonna buy it first. Never have any free time at work lol.
