My 2 year old male died today. The cause is indefinite, he was my healthiest and most active bp though. He ate a gerbil yesterday...by today he was dead. I know it was that gerbil, and Runt took one from the same batch. I don't wanna loose Runt too, only time will tell now.

Monty was my re-introduction to ball pythons, and basically herps. I bought him in August of '02 as a little baby. The original plan was to buy a WC adult female, but as I was going to that shop I saw a store I'd never been too, and stopped by. He was an adorable little baby, and pretty pricey at 95$. I bought him anyway and never looked back.

Monty was always healthy, cept for a little case of RI a year ago. Active, and a wonderful personality. A little bit of a picky eater... I'm just glad that I was able to take him out for a day of sun 2 days before his death. He got excited when put in the grass and trees. I got that at least.

Monty is the reason this site exists. I started this site because of Monty. He was my only bp at the time. I've lost more then a pet here, there truly is no putting this into words...

I fixed them up to not be totally awful. I've been going through my old pic cd's, I'm glad I never tossed em out now.

Man that's a heavy bummer. Did the gerbil do something or what makes you think it was the cause? At any rate I feel for ya bro.

Godfather I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. There just aren't the words to express :(
Monty will live on thru this wonderful site you created.

It's funny how these little guys change our lives. If not for Monty this site may not have come about. Monty without doing anything other than being a great bp has help 100's of bp's and there owners to provide good lives for our herps thru this site.
Hats off to Godfather and to Monty.

    RIP Monty
