Nice. I'm working on getting some python heads (top/face-on shots) in a b/w outline so folks can download them and get em inked if they like.

i think cody's avatar looks like it would make a cool tattoo--do you have it as a tattoo already or have you thought about it? i dig it 8)

thanks . . . i got another one on my right arm / shoulder that follows kind of the same theme, but this was the first ink i've had in about a year. i want this thing done in the worst way . . . the guy i go to is getting a special table/chair for me so i can be somewhat comfortable while he's filling in the back / sides of my calf.

Ah, tattoos. One of my many loves. I only have one currently(a tribal shark design on my left forearm) that I got when I was 15. That was 4 years ago. I've been definitely itching for more ink since then. Its just the money issue. I never have a few hundred to put towards a tat. But as soon as I get my baby ball, I'm gonna work on taking some pics of her in a pose that would be good for a tattoo, then I'll save up 500+ bucks(I'm sure it'll be around that..detail/color costs) and get her inked on my upper arm hopefully. :)

BTW, sweet tattoo in the work there. I love tribal designs. A while ago I was thinking of having a theme...like just having tribal animals as tats. I had a snake, dragon, tiger, and scorpion picked out to get. All tribal. Something about tribal that gets me...I think it's the fact that it's a creative yet simple way to draw something out(just simple shapes put together correctly), and it's usually just black ink, so it's less expensive. 8)

Let me know how much that cost, and how long it took. I'm always curious about how long a tat takes. My simple shark tat took 2-3 hours. And it's just a 7"x3" black and light blue tat. Cost me only 80 bucks....it was a friend of a friend who used to have his own tat shop that did it for me.

my leg so far is about 4 hours so far, and i think i got about 10 hours on my right arm total spread out over a while (got the dragon first, then the outer tribal outline drawn, then filled in.

heres a couple pics of my other tatt (day after it was filled in).

What size are your ears? Mine are a 10g as of now, the second holes are 14g. Getting bigger soon. My boyfriend on the other hand, his ears are 1/2" now(I think, maybe 00), and his nose and tongue are 8g. He got his nose pierced with a 10, OW! Just seeing that needle just made my eyes water. LoL But he can tug on it pretty hard now and no problems. Nice tats by the way.

Nice. I really admire larger tattoos, I'd love to have a pair of half-sleeves but I can't because they'll show under my scrubs. I currently have 8 (hah, I swore when I turned 18 I'd only get one per year....I'm 19 now, guess that plan failed) including 2 on the tops of my feet, two small inner ankle charms, one lower back piece, one small piece on my stomach and my largest pieces on my shoulders.
    The last two I had:

(The picture's pretty big, so I just linked it).
I'm currently playing around with a few ideas, I'm starting to get the ink itch again...

Oh man, they are. And being cheaper than tats, it's easier for me to validate getting them. I'm up to 14 now, I'm afraid I'll set off the airport metal detectors next time I fly if I get any more. ;)

Yep yep....I set off the metal detectors last time I flew....my 4 gauge tongue barbell is what did it.

But that wont happen again...its a 0 ga now...and acrylic. ;) I doubt my 18ga nostril will do anything...or any of my ear piercings...or my other piercing. ;)

My issue was always my 4g ears, although my "other" one set off the detector once too. I had to go behind a screen and prove to the guard I wasn't trying to smuggle in a switchblade or something, it was just the jewelry setting it off. I get paranoid after that and stick to acrylics in everything except my septum now.

whoa now, he didn't make you show it to him did he? that's like abuse of power or something. not cool. i bet people were giving you the eye though if they scanned you with the handheld thing and if kept going off there. ha!

Wow, nice tats everyong. My boyfriend is a tattoo artist, and I am kinda a helper who gets the green soap, towels, etc. Here's my ankle tattoo; it hurt like hell! It's a flaming cougar. Sorry about the horrendous pic quality, and the fact that the cat has a mosquito bite in the pic. :)
