Oliver's homecoming
The first one is Ollie buckled in the car for the quick trip home. He was looking around the whole time.
The rest of the pics are of Oliver settling in to his new home. He roamed around and poked at the screen (I have 4 clips in place!). I moved him to the other side, and he had a drink of water while he explored some more. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/06/rygete2e.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/06/5u4ute3a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/06/a6apy2et.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/06/7u6e4eza.jpg

Re: Oliver's homecoming
Thats cool...fun thread reading the other one and then seeing him on the way and settling in.

He's lovely! Good luck with your boy! My least favourite part is the settling in period, I'm so impatient :) I bet you're all excited at the moment getting him home and settled :D

What a cute lil guy! Congrats! You plan on covering the top of the tank?

Yes, I'll cover the top of his cage once I get the temperatures corrected :-)

What does that mean..u should cover the top immediately to keep heat in and start figuring out if your bulbs are hot enough and if the humidity is right..u won't figure anything out til u do that, that's since u do plan on covering it:confusd:

Wait, did you just say cover the top and figure out if the bulbs are hot enough?
If you're using lights for heat, putting anything in between them and the tank is going to make it more difficult to regulate. Aside from that, belly heat, belly heat, belly heat.

I think he means putting a towl over three quarters of the tank to keep the heat and humidity in. U don't put anything between the light and cage. Critter cages are hard to keep humidity in. Congrats on the home coming. Cute little guy.
