LOL ya have to laugh about stuff like this. I was worried till I found him but this may actually be the most amusing pic any of my snakes have ever set themselves up for.

This reminds me of a time when my BP slithered away somewhere. I didn't find him until I checked on my friend's sugar gliders that were spending the weekend over. Turns out my snake was on the KITCHEN COUNTER staring at the cage with the sugar gliders inside. I got lucky that time :P

Yeah his timing couldn't have been much worse considering the entire collection will be evacuated to my parents' house tonight in anticipation of power outage due to the freezing rain event that's imminent in the next 24 hours. He would have been in real trouble if he hadn't turned up.

We used to have a pet rat and this exact situation happened lol but it was with a boa. He had almost knocked the cage to the ground! It was hanging over the edge of the shelf it was sitting on. Caught him just in time
