Slitherin' Sisters = the house of special needs animals
Ok, so I put up that thread about having a snake dumber than a box of rocks, the one that constricted herself. Well, I realized this evening that I have a second 'special' snake. This time it has the spider gene so it makes more sense ;)
I was feeding everyone and noticed the bee waiting for his turn to eat. This is how he waits... He's usually not too weird or spidery, until it's feeding time. Then he's completely bonkers.

And the video. I apologize for the suckiness of the video and my own weirdness. I like to call myself quirky... :P

My spider does the same thing. He's perfectly normal until a rodent enters the picture, then he just goes nuts

Nice. I have a special needs bumblebee baby myself... he's a weirdo always whacking himself in the face with his tail and then getting all 'S' shaped like WHO DID THAT??!! LOL.

Too weird. So they have the wobble, and/or a looney bin feeding response, lol. I had a spider like that and my spinner is like that too, totally normal until there's a rodent in the picture. This bee is mostly normal without prey, he does like to tilt his head though.

Lol, I'm glad you liked it. I had my hubby watch it to make sure it wasn't too ridiculous to post, he said it probably was, lol. Oh well! :P And yes, the first few times I saw him like that my heart sank. I took the picture and started the video before I knew for sure whether or not he was alive. I assumed he was since before I started feeding the other racks I didn't notice him.

I have a spider het hypo that does the same thing! Only she's a pain in the neck. If she strikes and misses more than twice she's done, she won't try after that. Spiders are a certain kind of special!
