My new baby!
True, locality-verified Malaysian yellow bloods, originally produced by VPI.
This is "Mello Yello" (in shed)

And "Saffron"

The reddest blood in my collection. This is "Rojo Loco" - a het albino male. These pics have not been tweaked in any way.

My other reddest blood. This is "Damn" - simply because that's what I say every time I open the drawer. She's an '03 holdback.

My favorite weird male from 2003

A dark female I had to keep...yep, she's a red blood.

A pretty -albeit angry- peach colored male. In shed.

This is "Appealing Banana" - my striped yellow Sumatran. She's extremely shy & this is the first pic I've ever taken of her. Took 8 months to get her to feed in captivity.

"Hope" - the little female Sarawak I produced this year.

One of my favorite female Borneos, from my friend Jasin Chapman. I named her "Georgia" since she's such a peach. ;)

Enjoy!

WOW! The reds on those reddest two are amazing, and the others are fascinating looking two. I really like the looks of the striped Sumatran, but they're all fabulous. Thanks for sharing the pics.
-
Thank you for the pics Kara!!! They are absolutely amazing! Do you guys still have any bloods left this year ( pondering :) )?
-
SWEET yellows!
You have quite a saturated screamer of a Red there too, Kara! I'm hoping Kali doesn't fade and winds up staying that bright as well.
-
Beautiful Snakes. I can't wait till I'm ready for one :)

Are any of those super deep red bloods for sale? If so, how much?
Also, do you know where I could get a black blood python with a yellow head?
-
None of what's pictured above is for sale, but all of my available reds are currently posted here:

I have a very nice male yellow headed black blood for sale at this time - drop me a line for more info.

KLG, you guys have some awesome looking bloods available this year. You have gotten my mind pondering
-
K, what do the adults eat? From their thickness it would seem like they could down a rabbit with no problem, but it looks like it'd be a stretch for their necks. Do they just eat smaller rodents and get all robust like that?
-
pic question
Rabbits are a waste for bloods, IMO. These animals are extremely efficient when it comes to prey consumption/growth & it's very easy to make them obese. Even my biggest bloods (6'+) eat a jumbo rat at a sitting, although they're extremely capable of pounding down good-sized rabbits. Making bloods fat is the quickest route to not breeding them. I'm forever telling folks to save their money & just buy rats! :) You know, "Silly blood python keeper, rabbits are for retics!"  Then again, most snakes in captivity are overfed as it is...but that's another topic entirely.
