Registered User????
When do you lose the title or registered user and become, veteran, high member or anything, cause ive seen ppl w/ only a few posts as veteran and people with tens of thousands as registered user.

also wats up with gold/silver/platinum members

Click on "Help Support" icon aahs you can donate which will give you the silver, gold, or platinum status.
The other question about your status changing is a combo of time as a member and a certain number of post, I think 200 or 250 with 2 years as a member.
-
thx, do you need two years or is just the posts ok
-
Re: Registered User????
Veteran is a combination of post count, time joined and rep gained.
:)
The best way to get ahead is simply to help others where you can.

i rlly want to have a different title. How many posts/thanks for a rep point cause i only have one (green bar) and want more. :D:D:P:P:P:P:P:D:D

Re: Registered User????
Each thanks gives one rep point.
Some of the premium levels give custom user titles though.

That answer is within my status. Look at my time as member and post made.
The rep points don't mean much. Usually they will show how funny, carrying, out helpful somebody is. They can be taken away for infractions.
The +R- button is a rep option that allows you to leave a comment to that person. You can also leave negative points with this option. Read the rules though so you do know misuse it. This feature let's the person know you commented but will not show under the post.

If i understand U, can ppl give me some rep power by pressing r:please::please::bow::bow:. Thx
:P:P:):););)

Stop focusing on gaining rep and just learn from the people on this forum so hopefully one day you can repay a new member with the info you have learned.
-
ik, ik im just joking, i was just wondering how the system works

No. Stop focusing on it. Begging for points is going to rub people the wrong way. You will get it in time. Earn them the right way so you can be proud that you earned them and didn't beg for them.

We don't normally do that. They can seem to be linked by people giving negative rep for a disliked post though.

Also if you make your posts "professional" looking, you'll get farther. Chat speak and tons of smilies is irritating and gives the impression that you're young.

sorry, just joking. But everyone likes a bit of fun smilies. Im sorry if it looks unprofessional

sorry.

The real reason is that there is a glitch that sometimes i cant see all uptated comments unless i comment but i dont know wat to say so i do random snakes or as before, say sorry to see if anyones said anything.

What's wrong with being young? I know I use a lot of smiley faces and exclamation points when I reply to certain posts because I'm just a happy excited person, especially when it comes to my favorite hobby :) lol. I understand what your trying to say but you can still be young, use smilies, and still be considered professional.

I don't think there is anything wrong with being young; it's just in general, ( I know this doesn't apply to all young people) that younger people have less experience, well because of their age. There are people on this forum that have probably kept snakes for as long as I have been alive (27), and have first hand knowledge to pass on to those willing to listen.

I didn't say there is anything wrong with being young. I guess immature is a better word and that is associated with being young. OP said they wanted rep. Coming off as a mature more professional individual, such as using capitalization, not using chat speak, and not putting a ton of smilies in a row all the time, is going to get you more rep. People will listen to you more when they see you come off as mature. I know when I see the things I mentioned above that, no matter how experienced they are, I skip over it or take it with a grain of salt.
