Since you are tight on funds have you ever thought about switching over to tubs? I spend roughly $20 on a new snake tub for every snake I get.

Tubs? Ive only ever got racks (expensive) and vivariams (expensive) so tubs sound good. Explain!

I use tubs!! Fellow Uk'er ;) just get storage boxes with secure clip lids, drill in holes for ventilation and grab a heat mat...et voila! I use tubs for 5 of mine :)

Yes tubs like these. The only expensive part of tubs is flexwatt. But once you have bought 2 uth's you get your money back out of flexwatt. This is 4" flexwatt 4 foot long heating 4 snakes. And because it's secure to the counter not the tub. They lift off easily. Notice the dimmer mounted on the wall toward the starting tub. My Helix will be there once it gets in.

Hope this pic shows, I ordered my tub offline. Search 'really useful box' online or I think places like B&M and other cheap shops sell them. I use heat mats underneath mine. My 12l only cost £8.94 from play.com I believe, I drilled holes in the sides for ventialtion, sanded them down and that was all there was to it. So much easier, less space taken up and easier to clean :)

Yep, just get one big enough for her, they come in loads of sizes, it is just a storage box that fastens more securely :)

Yeah. 41qt will house big females, Most can stay in 32qt. I got a 800gram female in a 32qt under the cabinet that was just out of the camera's sight.

If you're planning on keeping her until adulthood, you can buy one of the tubs that's around 41qt. The tubs around that size are usable for adults.

No problem, glad I could help! A hell of a lot cheaper than buying a 3/4ft vivarium and with hides she'll be just as happy! :)

I find them a lot easier in keeping in humidity as well, my viv needs two water balls, misting and a sphagnum moss hide to get half decent humidity for a shed. I threw some moss in with my spider and a small water bowl and he's reaching 70% without any problems :)
