Mystery Granite Update

He's eating well and getting lighter as he grows. I'm really happy with how he looks.

That is one impressive pattern morph.
Fingers crossed on it being a simple genetic pattern morph rather than a polygenic or other deviation.
Either way it fits the permanent holdback category.

It was a surprise from a Pastel Special x Super Mojave clutch, three crystals and this guy. It was the first year I bred either snake so there isn't a chance of sperm retention or anything.

Specials are starting to be apart of all kinds of surprises lately haha

The interesting part is that mom was a super mojave so I would expect more of a crystal looking snake if special was involved. It's a mystery for now...

I just ment with that special mocha pairing that made that epic snake as well ....but definitely a epic snake u got there how ever things end up playing out

That pattern is awesome!

If this snake proves out, something makes me think it would go well with the sunset gene.

He's a year old now so hopefully this will be his season...imagine the possibilities!
