Cold Ball Pythons...

Just got my fed ex delivery a day late and they were cold it has been in the 30s here.. what is the best way to warm them down.. and what are the signs I should look for afterwards knowing they were so cold.

Don't try too fast, just put them in their enclosure with proper parameters.

This is what I would do at first. Once they're up to normal temperatures, would it be beneficial to increase their temps and humidity slightly, as if they were in the early stages of RI? I've never had this happen and saw the OP's other thread on the FedEx screw-up. I really hope the little guys are ok...

How high should I go to 92 or 93 good...

I'm inclined to say you should keep them at ambient temps 70-80 for a few hours before turning on the hot spot. Rapid temp. change is bad for living things in general.

Put them in there tubs and moved the tub off the hot spot for around 2 1/2 hours so they would warm up slowly..just moved the tub back a little towards the heat tape..now the question is should i up the temps to 92 93... Thanks for all the help..

Honestly after they are warmed up it wouldn't hurt to bump it up to say 92 for a lil while

Why would you keep them colder for a bit? Unless I'm reading that wrong. :confusd: I would think it would be best to immediately start to slowly warm them up to their normal temps...

No matter what you do with temps, I'm not sure I'd play with humidity levels at all while they're still warming up. Just keep it at the standard 50%, would be my advice. No need to provoke an RI with unstable temp and high humidity.

I took mine for a ride to the pet store after I picked them up I turned the heat on and just let them chill in there bags they where nice and warmed up by the time I got home but today was also a little warmer then it has been almost 40 degrees out earlier
