    Pure white or patterned leucistics?
Which leucistics do you guys like best? As you know, some of them turn out pure white where others get some residual pattern.

I personally like the modestly patterned ones, like this super mojave: http://www.constrictors.com/images/B...Mojave0141.jpg

Same with the super fire. I like the ones that have a moderate amount of yellow spotting; not a whole lot, and not pure white, but somewhere in between, like this.

What do you guys think? I'm curious how many "pure white" folks we have versus those who like some markings.

Well I'm kinda torn, I love the pure white snakes but I also love the super mojo with the head color.

See I kind of like pieds to be about 50% white. That way they show off the pied feature, but if you combine genes, you can see the other attributes as well.

I think this should have been a poll. :D

Yes I agree, it's nice to see what the white beats.

I like pure white BEL, as I see that as the best looking of the trait. However I think a very broken 50/50 pied would be the best looking, as I see that as the best looking of the trait. So your poll doesn't really cover my tastes.

Gimme the pure white BELs and the 50/50, 40/60 Pieds.

In my mind, that's what the morphs are supposed to look like *by definition*.

Spots, spots, more spots please. The all white ones are real nice looking but I find them a bit lacking in character.

These two have a bit of character, enough you can get away naming them something cute - like "spot":

Mucho character, getting close to "funk doctor splotch" name worthy:

    Pure white or patterned leucistics?
It really depends, I want my blue eyed Lucy's to be as vivid white as possible, while I want my black eyed Lucy's to have as much yellow as possible, and I want my pieds to be about 50-70% white

These 2 girls on kingsnake right now are just about perfect for me. Just the right amount of spotting to give them identity, but little enough that they're still leucistic. ;) Love them. I'd certainly snag one if I had the $$.

I like some pattern but as long as the snake is a real bright white. Not an off white like I've seen in some. As for pieds I like high white like around 75%

I like pure white. Yet I like low white pieds. And I like very reduced albinos; I find the yellow shade of albino BPs really unappealing.

    Yeah I'm kinda odd.

I have never been a real fan of albino. The very reduced ones are nicer but not my mug of beer or cup of tea.

I like 50/50 or lower white pieds. I think the pied pattern is unique and love how it looks like part of the snake got erased.

Personally, I like something that breaks up the white a bit. Once I saw this pic, I knew what I was going for as soon as my enchi fire grows up :O
