How do I get my tank humid?

Lol, if you're using a paper product as substrate then moderate misting about 2-3 times a week is sufficient. Wood besed substrates are more efficient at retaining humidity, I simply saturate mine every week or so. Hope that helps.

damp cloth on the top of the screen (careful it doesn't get too close to any heat lights) spray the tank, moisten the substrate, buy a fogger or humidifier/air exchanger if you really need to get it up high

I have wood substrate and a glass Viv. I have a UTH and a red heat bulb. My heat is right around 75-80

Hot side needs to hit 85-90F, your cool side can be a good 75-80F. Unless the wood product is aspen, humidity should be maintained at decent levels when the substrate is saturated weekly. If you're using aspen, then moderate misting 2-3 times a week should do the trick.

Thanks so much hope this helps and by saturate you mean I should completely soak the bedding or hit it real heavy with the spray bottle once a week?

I would not saturate the substrate, you'll be looking at scale rot. It does not need to be saturated just mist daily.

If your using a screen top you might as well buy a whole room humidifier. Nothing you do will keep the humidity up in the tank untill you get that screen covered. Cheap way to do it is to tape tinfoil to the outside of the screen. Cover all of it right up to the light fixture. Those lights all have vent holes anyway, and if needed you can uncover a bit at a time until your humidity stays where you need it. Once this is done you'll probably only need to mist once or twice a week.
