This MAY sound rude but Chica, listen up!

Incase you missed my reply to your DUMB question, I really doubt you have any common sense and from the way you present yourself I'd have to guess you were only about 10 years old.

In my opinion you have no business owning a snake and I feel SORRY for your ball python. And I dont think Im alone in my views on you, I think almost everybody here would agree with me.

If you want your snake to live and be happy, I suggest you do some research ASAP because I can tell by your posts you know NOTHING about ball pythons.

If I've offended anybody by this post, Im sorry.

Trolling is posting threads to provoke people. It's best to ignore trolls when they show up. Chica has posted borderline posts before but this was just too obvious. I guess he wasn't getting the response he wanted before.

I thought it was a bit of a dumb question aswell, but I myself didn't think he was trolling. I just seen it as a naive kid with a bp. I agree that the person probably isn't ready to own a ball python, but as for the trolling thing, I think it was a completely innocent question from a rather young and unlearned ball python owner.

Cody, follow the link to his profile, then read the other topics he started and see if you still feel that way.

I dunno...to me the persons posts still send out this young naive kid with a bp vibe to me. Like this post "My BP was slitthing around on my bed and started to hiss for no reason and so i was frigghtend to pick it up so i had my bro do it and i guess its fine now" sounds like a thing a 10 year old would do, lol. I'm not saying it was wrong to ban him. Just saying I wasn't sure if they were trolling. I have no say in it. I was just stating my opinion. :D

Just to clarify for everyone, we don't ban people for being annoying. Members are watched pretty closely and warned twice before they are banned (the 3 strikes and you're out rule) unless the offense is really severe. For those of you who are questioning whether or not the person in question was a troll because he seemed to ask legitimate questions, that's exactly what a troll would do unless they were trying to get banned quickly, which isn't much fun. It's much more fun to stick around a while and see how much trouble you can stir up.

You're welcome. We don't want to ban anyone unnecessarily, but we don't want trolls ruining the experience for the rest of us either. If any members see a post that looks trollish, we'd appreciate their reporting it to a mod or admin.

actually he was, he sent me a few PM's asking about it. I told him i didnt have a clue about sexing snakes exept to go to the vet and have it probed, i told him there was no way he could do it with his finger.

Yeah I understand about making sure the user isn't just a complete whackjob and hopefully save a snake somewhere. Its definitely a very blurred line, I'm glad you mods are here and take the time to sort this stuff out. The site wouldn't be what it is w/o you all.

Thanks Brad, both for being alert and being understanding. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if someone is a troll or just uninformed (or maybe a kid), which I guess makes them a better troll if that's what they are.
