    Hypo?
Hey everyone, this is my first post here although I've been lurking around here for a while. I picked up this guy that was mixed with a bunch of normals and he was mich lighter than the others. Here's a pic:

Any help and input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Alex

I'd say you've got yourself a handsome fire, congrats and welcome to the addiction!

I see a light normal. I don't see fire, but I don't work with it and am not super familiar with it either. Either way, congrats!

Has a washed out head like a hypo, but the color isn't right. The color looks fire-ish.

If it sheds clear it's a hypo. Could be a Vanilla or fire or lemonback

Definitely not a normal. Looks like a Fire to me.

    Hypo?
My initial thought was fire, but it could also be a vanilla. Breed it and find out.

Hypos are pretty easy to pick out, fires and vanillas a little less so. I'm saying a light normal until you can get a pick with natural colors rather than washed out.

This could help. I need to get a pick with my fires for comparison. Bottom= axanthic and normal, Top= hypo

    Re: Hypo?
Vanilla crossed my mind, but again, a morph I'm not really familiar with.

Not seeing hypo............ Normal till proven otherwise unless you can get the breeder to verify.

I'm not seeing hypo either, Fire or Vanilla are possibilities but on the other hand I've seen 'normals' that were that light as well.
The only way to determine if it's a genuine genetic mutation is to breed it and see what you get.
