Well Osiris aka Cookie just arrived, the bp I adopted from the rescue site that Tigergenesis had posted.
He is some what bigger than 21" as I was told maybe around 28" and a cute little guy.
Opened the box and his eyes are blue so along w/ getting use to his new home he is about to shed.
I already have a Vet appt set up for him on Sat. and soon as he gets settled in I will post pics in my album here on BP.net
I am so happy he made it here and appears A- OK.
He is in good shape but still needs to put on a few grams :)
The guy told me he was thin as a small sharpie when he got him so he is well on his way. I was told he eats great so hopefully this will continue especially since my other bp Ozzy has been off feed now for almost a month. Don't think my nerves could take two off feed :cynic:

Glad to hear he got to you in decent shape. I'm sure you can fatten him up and will take good care of him. :)

Thanks guys. It's like having a new baby in the house :)
I will post pics in about a week or so, I want him to get good and settled in. He's been thru alot the last few months.
Guess w/ his arrival the JCP will have to be put on hold until we move.
And I was gonna get one at the show 8/28 in NoVa.

    Thanks everyone :)

    Marla,
I plan to move around or after the first of the year. And only up the street about 2-3 miles. My son wants to finish high school where he started.

Soon as he is off to colleage or whatever he chooses his room will become my herp room :)

Jotay, sounds like a pretty easy move, comparatively speaking (moving isn't easy no matter how close by). At least you won't have to worry about issues with transporting your herps or similar problems. I can't blame your son for wanting to stay in the same high school -- that's a big part of why I moved when I did, so that my kids could go to the same high school all the way through. Fortunately, I don't have to wait for them to move out to get a herp room since we got a basement. :)

I know! I was so lucky to find an affordable (relative term) house that's not a split level and has a decent basement. I am definitely not taking it for granted. I'll bet he doesn't mind, though. If I had told my girls I wanted to make their bedrooms herp rooms when they move out, they'd probably start drawing up plans. ;)
