moving my ball to the closest any negative things to know before hand? Ive heard of bad air and high humidity problems doing that

High humidity shouldn't be an issue for the snake, but it could be bad for any humidity sensitive items in the closet (assuming that the snake cage is raising the humidity in the closet)

If the closet is closed all the time and has a noticeable smell when you open it I would reconsider housing the snake there.

Thanks so your saying the humidity will be high? I moved my ball to the closet an moved my red tail out into the room

It's a small enclosed space, so there is a possibility that you will raise the humidity in the closet when you mist the snakes cage. I seriously doubt that there will be any measurable difference, but it is possible.

High humidity really isn't bad for BP's as long as there isn't condensation forming on the inner surfaces of the cage.

I wouldn't think it would be more stagnant than a turmite mound or rodent burrow.

High humidity can cause respiratory infection if the air circulation is poor.
And I know closets don't have the best air flow. I know someone who kept a rat rack in a open door closet and his entire colony got RI from poor air circulation.
Maybe keep a fan running in the room and the closet door cracked open a bit if you're going to have high humidity.

I know we have members here who have kept them in closets. Hopefully they'll chime in with more info.

No, no, he'll only change his mind when you take him back out of the closet. As long as he's still IN the closet he'll breed to keep up pretenses.

I have a rack with 5 adults and 1 sub adult in my closet. Granted it is large and has a vent that my home air system goes through. I also keep a small space heater in there during the colder months to keep the ambient temps 75.

I have't had any issues with humidity or stagnant air.
