This girl is getting better and better with every shed, those rich red tones start popping more and more. I'm so excited to be a part of this project and cannot wait to hatch Sunsets!!!

any plans for the first breeding?

i reckon instead of making simple 100% hets you will breed it to something genetically more powerful, for hets + extra genes or double hets :)

i would try fire, or lesser, or enchi, or hypo, or pinstripe.

there is no combo on WOBP, so anything will be new and interesting.

I think I'll actually be going for visual Sunsets with this girl first time breeding. I do think the potential in combos is out of this world with this animal, once you break down not only the reds, oranges, and and various tones, you hit a CRAZY pattern. I will be doing Sunset combinations, BUT this girls first pairing might be just reserved for a Het. Sunset male. :gj:

oh yeah if you have a het and a visual of course go for more visuals first.

i assumed maybe you only have this one visual and no hets, and was wondering what pairings you choose as soon as you make your first hets. so, later, the question will come up anyway.

your het male could go to other females, to make some 50% possible hets + extra gene stuff. but i dont know how helpful that would be.

I would have to breed that with a super codom like a super enchi or super mystic. Or even better a MYSTIC POTION!

    She's STUNNING.

After going for visuals and hets, might I recommend Desert? I think a Desert Sunset would be stunning!

its no less than a new color: red

noone has a clue (except maybe BHB) how it works with other genes. Will pastel just reduce browns and yellows and keep the red, or not? Same question for butter/lesser. Then, in other species that have red, albino will keep the red intact. So what about albino? Will it be white + yellow + red? I hope a sunset albino will be white + yellow + red.

What a beautiful Sunset! I absolutely love this morph. I want one something awful, but it is definitely out of my price range. I was hoping you'd go for some more visual sunsets first, Ben. There aren't enough of them out there yet. Certainly, this morph will be stunning in a variety of different combos, which I can't wait to see. But first and foremost we need more Sunsets!!

So I can have one. ;) lol.
