Totally off topic but still to do with the forum
Why do I always get this message " The following errors occurred with your submission

    • The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 6 characters." It doesn't matter if my response is 2 words or sometimes I even get it when it is a short paragraph. Then there are other times I can reply with a "Very nice" and it is fine grrrrrrrrrrr.......

I see that too, it's very frustrating after typing out a long reply only to lose it.

Assuming you are entering more than 6 characters the only way I can think of for this to happen is if you are writing your reply inside a quote of someone elses post?

Anything quoted gets ignored in the character count.

    Does that help?

And was it writing in the quote that was doing it. Cause it does it to me even without a quote.

Yea. I accidentally tried to write inside someone else's quote. Then I realized it, and wrote below the quote, and that fixed my issue.

I'm not sure why it would do it if you weren't making that mistake, though.

I've had it happen even without a quote, and I generally don't insert my comments into quotes.

Occasionally I'll also hit the 'Submit Reply' button and get an error message asking me if I want to navigate away from the page. I click 'Stay', and then 'Submit Reply' works on the second try.

Hmm....what could be "Off Topic" of an "Off Topic" forum? An "On Topic" forum? I don't think we really have any of those. :)

So frustrating isn't it, specially when you type out this big long reply or thread and boom gone. I have started to copy mine just in case it does that when I hit submit. I feel a little better knowing it is not just me this happens to :)
