    Butter Bee Question!
I just got a Butter Ball Python and someday want to breed him... I was thinking of doing a butter x spider to make a 1/4 outcome of:

    1/4 Normal
    1/4 Spider
    1/4 Butter
    1/4 Butter Bee

I would love to have a Butter Bee come out of this as I love the look and to produce one would be a dream come true! Am I right on these stats?

Yep, odds are right! Butter/Lesser Bees aren't that much, though. Males are going for about $350 and females are going for about $450.

Just remember those odds aren't guaranteed

Anyone know of another co-dominant morph that goes well with Butters?

Pastel is nice, so is black pastel... it's actually really hard to go wrong with butter + anything.

You missed this part "to produce one would be a dream come true!"...part of the fun is actually producing your own stuff and not just buying it.

That is sooo very true. Anyone can buy anything with enough money... to produce your own dream snake, that's what breeding (any animal) is all about!!

Yep I totally agree! I have always wanted to produce a butter bee, not just buy it :gj:

Ah, see, the snakes I want to produce, that are my dream, I would never be able to buy in a million years (or at least not a decade or so, pandas aren't coming down anytime soon) so I have to produce. Missed the 'want to produce' part.

If you're headed that direction already, I would suggest spending just a little more and picking up a bumble bee instead of a spider. They're affordable and the number of combos will shoot way up to give you more fun and excitement waiting to see what you've actually hit on to hatch...you also add the chance at pastel butters and queen bees which are both incredible combos.
