I hatched a weird thing today
So after a big heartbreak from this clutch where 2 out of 7 eggs were fertile, this girl crawled out. Also peeked into the other egg and a similar snake lays inside. The breeding was my super lesser Lucy x import girl. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/26/yrege4um.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/26/9yja5y2a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/26/8u9uqesy.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/26/y9e8apuh.jpg

Wow, that is awesome! Let's see the other one and after they shed for sure. The weird thing is that it's from a super lesser lucy - that is NOT a lesser...

Was the import an adult when you got it? Can we see pics of it?

    Hi,

Did you put any other males in there at any time? Even last year?

I'm seeing a definite cinny complex input from those pics. :confusd:

Interesting looking, but the filters you used on the photos are screwing our perception of the snake's color up completely.
Try posting up new photos without any filters.

without a doubt it looks comparable to cinnamon/black pastel. any pictures without the instagram sepia filter? congrats on the surprise clutch.

I wanna guess! My guess is that your BEL is lesser/mojo. The colors in the photos are wonkey but looks mojoish to me. Can we have unaltered daylight photos of the baby?

Hey guys! Just got home from work! Here they are! And it's not filters it's the lighting in the room, and taken with an iphone. As for any other males, I put an ivory once and a butterbee a few times.

Okay maybe I'm just crazy, but I think the cutest thing about these babies is their LITTLE TUMMIES LOOK AT THEM. I love the fadeout onto their flanks, and obviously you wouldn't really be able to tell until after their first shed/in natural light, but they look kinda creamish on their bellies.

Can we get a picture without a filter please?????
    ;) :)

see, a smile and a wink so that way im not looked at as a jerk but i hate those filters....hate them.

But seriously its like me going "hey looked what my snake turned into after shedding" Bam....green filter and now i have a green Bumblebee.

Congrats and sympathies for the lost ones.

They don't look like mojaves to me...I would say pewterish but until we see some better pics they look like normals with a wacky pattern.

They look like lessers that have crazy filters applied. How about some outdoor pics in sunlight without filters. Or something red in the pic?

Can you take some photos near a window or outside so that you get proper lighting for your iPhone to get some more accurate photos? I am very interested in seeing them in natural daylight - the poor lighting in the photos you are posting is making it hard to appreciate what I am seeing.

Re: I hatched a weird thing today
Is it possible that super lesser has pastel in it also and that your dad it is actually a three gene animal... maybe the imported female is in the cinny complex so the combination of the pastel and cinny is making pewter-like hatchlings... In any case I want to see the parents!! AND pics of the hatchlings in natural light. Congrats on these babies, they look great, and I'm sorry about your other losses.

Hey guys! I'll put up sunlight pics when I get home from work, but I do agree, they look very pewterish, but I didn't put any of my pewters to her, Lucy prolly is a 3 gene, will take pics of that bug eyed sucker tonight, as well as mom who looks very plain jane

Awesome babies. I know scorpions can retain, not sure about snakes but could explain why only 2 were good. If this is even possible?

Definitely and we need to figure out when I'm going to fly out there as well. Maybe for one of the Anaheim shows or something. I guess depending on if you vend there or not, or whatever shows you vend at. I want to check a show out that way sometime sooner or later, but it'll have to be after this year.
