What's the INFJ stand for? Lol

Re: Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)
ISTJ
It actually fits me perfectly...
-
-
INTP, and it is pretty much spot on.
-
INTJ, but there were more than a few questions that were both yes and no for me. I've gotten other results with this test in the past and while this does apply to me, it is not what I would term accurate in a big picture sort of way.
-
Strictly speaking that's not actually a Jung personality test; Meyers and Briggs made the test BASED on Jungs info...
Its actually called the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicaor test, and is based on the theories of psychological topology. It is against the code of medical ethics for anyone other than a trained psychologist to administer the test, and most online versions are based on "simple" versions of the test

Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)

You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%)

Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)
Those questions are too hard for me to answer. So many of them are 100% situational for me. I feel like it just wouldn't come out accurate lol.
-
ISFJ. I've taken the test before.
I like to care for all the things and all the people. I'm like a magical housewife or butler. I make awesome cookies and pot pies, but God forbid I have to be social without fresh baked goods to start conversations for me.

I'd take the test but unfortunatly I don't actually have a personality. :rolleye2:

Agreed, and same.
I'm actually half way between an ENFP and an INFP. I've taken two versions of the test and one I got one, and the other I got the other. I ride the fine line between extrovert and introvert- and it's mostly because I have an anxiety disorder, which forces my natural extroverted personality to introvert. So I claim extrovert is what I'd be if I was perfect. :P
-
INFJ
20% Introvert (vs. extraversion)
38% iNtuitive (vs. sensing)
38% Feeling (vs. thinking)
67% Judging (vs. perceiving)
Of course it's all situational, and I can switch between modes at will. I'm sure many people can.

Never!!! I think psychology stuff is good for a laugh...it gets everyone thinking they know about each other's mental states, and then when the bottom drops out on them it gets pretty funny.
Based on what I know about it, I would estimate that I am:
Borderline introvert/extrovert
Sensing
Thinking
Judging
Otherwise, Jung was even weirder than Frued, so I could care less about how he thought the human mind works :P
-
Blah you remind me of my father...granted, I love the guy, but I also want to strangle him 50% of the time.
-
-
INTJ...fits me for sure...have taken this test before and came up with the same outcome.
-
ISTP here but a few questions could of went either way.
-
I don't think it was a good test. Many of the question I was asking "What are the circumstances?" because I behave differently given the circumstances.
Here's mine anyway. It's somewhat right:
ESTJ
Extravert(1%) Sensing(38%) Thinking(12%) Judging(11%)
You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (38%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

Hmmm....father issues....would you like to lay down and talk about it??

Me and my homeboy Gandalf the Grey are INTJ.. I've taken this before and have gotten the same answer. It is spot on.
Especially this part, which any of you that know me relatively well will agree with:
"This happens in part because many INTJs do not readily grasp the social rituals; for instance, they tend to have little patience and less understanding of such things as small talk and flirtation (which most types consider half the fun of a relationship). To complicate matters, INTJs are usually extremely private people, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes them easy to misread and misunderstand. Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJs really want people to make sense. :-) This sometimes results in a peculiar naivete', paralleling that of many Fs -- only instead of expecting inexhaustible affection and empathy from a romantic relationship, the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness." Seriously the most accurate description of how I think that I have ever seen :rolleye2:

INTJ. Yep, its me all right.

Although somebody appears to have necroposted by about... a little over two months, this is the first time I've seen this thread and I'm fairly attracted to personality tests, although that's probably because I like to philosophize about human nature myself. Still, I like to disregard the results of these, unless they're this relatable: (My result was that I'm an ESTP, btw)

It's not that they don't care about people, it's that their decision-making process does not involve taking people's feelings into account. They make decisions based on facts and logic.
ESTP's least developed area is their intuitive side. They are impatient with theory, and see little use for it in their quest to "get things done". An ESTP will occasionally have strong intuitions which are often way off-base, but sometimes very lucid and positive. The ESTP does not trust their instincts, and is suspicious of other people's intuition as well.
The ESTP often has trouble in school, especially higher education which moves into realms where theory is more important. The ESTP gets bored with classes in which they feel they gain no useful material which can be used to get things done. The ESTP may be brilliantly intelligent, but school will be a difficult chore for them.
Considering that I've been professionally tested (not cheesy FB quizes but something the Texas Education department gave me) for a high IQ, been noted as a great learner and quite smart, (not bragging lol) able to get some things easily done, but I don't work jack *bleep* in school, these results are quite impressively accurate. They also say that ESTP's are great entrepreneurs, while I'm not sure that I'm great in the aspect of how it defines an ESTP, I do have a great understanding of business, (without being taught) I have turned $8 into $30 before by profiting off of energy drinks that I'd vendor at school, and I do enjoy selling things. (Combined with my love of animals and sharing that with people, this is why I want to have my own pet/reptile business)

Re: Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)
I got an INTJ. Which, fits me quite accurately. I know I'm definitely an introvert and prefer to think things out rather than go by feelings. Although, I do have some impulsiveness... when it comes to snakes.
"As an INTJ, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in primarily via your intuition. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things rationally and logically."
That statement right there fits me to the T.
-
INTJ
78% Introvert
12% iNtuitive
38% Thinking
89% Judging
Overall that seems pretty accurate, but as others have said some questions were very conditional.
-
ESTP
Extrovert 11%
Sensing 62%
Thinking 25%
Perceiving 11%

ISTJ, pretty darn accurate though I do get a little lazy in regards to keeping my home "immaculately maintained"

Re: Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)
INTJ
Introvert:100%
iNtuitive:100%
Thinking:100%
Judging:100%
I think I'm the only person I know who's ever gotten 100% percent either way in any of the categories.
-
ENTJ
E - 11%
N - 38%
T - 50%
J - 22%
What I find interesting is that I consider myself more outgoing than this test indicates. Perhaps I just think I'm outgoing.
-
I have lost count of how many times I have taken this test, but I have always gotten the same answer. The percentages change here and there but I'm always an INFP.
-
Re: Jung Personality Test (It's fun!!)
Well, I know I said before it'd be hard since a lot of the questions would be situational, but I just decided to take it anyways since it popped up again and got ISTJ. From the description I'd say it's about 75% accurate.

I'm glad this thread is still kicking around! Going back and reading my test results months later, I'm still impressed by how accurate it was.

Funny, I was the opposite- I considered myself a lot more introverted, so it came as a slight surprise. I just *thought* I was an introvert, but the more I observe my interactions and behavior, it's pretty obvious I'm not.
-
I fall perfectly within the bounds of INTJ.
