    Dream reptiles?
If you could keep a single reptile, and it could be any one, what would it be? I'd have to say mine would be a Nile crocodile; there's just about nothing that's cooler, more majestic, or more prehistoric-looking than a big crocodilian, and I haven't even seen such an animal in person! What's your dream reptile, and why?

any of the giant monitors...I love the black dragons but since we are talking about anything i would say a Komodo dragon just because of their sheer power.

It's a toss up between a trio of King Cobras or a Megaraptor.

I know a Megaraptor isn't technically a reptile but were dreaming here right?

Komodo dragon–to walk on a leash

    Tegu–it's a little Komodo dragon

    Inland Taipan
    King Cobra(s)
One each of all the species of Rattlesnakes native to California

Those last three for educational purposes...the outreach potential would be incredible

Well I have two dream reptiles, though I would never own one.

A King Cobra would be a dream reptile but I'd try to hold it and I'd get bit and yea yea so I would never get venomous.

So now it's a Dominican Red Mountain Boa. I just have to wait until I can afford one.

Since this is a dream I am going with the Tuatara. Second choice is ruby eyed viper. I read some about them and they are absolutely gorgeous. It's hard to take my eyes off them!

Yes! Talk about a family heirloom.

I want an aldabra tortoise. It's actually sort of obtainable...if I had a house with a yard. I want a huge tortoise so bad.
