Picked up a male pastel for 50 bucks, hoping to make some lessers then lesserspiders/bees!

Everyone starts somewhere, I went with yellowbelly and a proven female normal in 08 my first season.
Nothing wrong with a pastel male for starting out, just remember any orange on a pastel turns brown.

Right, im just debating on what to pair him with, another pastel to hopefully get a super, or a spider for some bumbles. I need the spider if I ever hope to get a lesserbee

congrats! I don't know that I agree that $50 is the average male pastel price, I think it has more to do with quality. A poor Quality Pastel male would bring about $50 - but a great quality male pastel I wouldn't let go for less than $100. You have a mid quality guy there so congrats. I think you got a good deal, but regardless you deserve a congrats and I hope you enjoy your new little guy :)

Congrats! I thought it was a good deal too for a nice pastel male. I can't believe $50 is a normal price now :(
