    Craigslist steal!
I got 2 visionariums from my local craiglist! I'm pretty excited. Tali is at the size where I wanted to upgrade, her 10l is getting a little small. But a 20L will keep her happy for a long time to come :) plus another tank! I don't know what I will put in there. A hognose maybe? :)

I've always liked these as an alternative to an aquarium, much better design and still good for display. Nice score.

I've been staring at those on Craigslist for a while (I'm in Portland)! If I had more room for enclosures I would have jumped on them but what a great steal!

Hahaha, I have been freaked out that someone else would get them- they've been on there for awhile. It might have been a littleeee too much, but it was an awesome price and Tali really needs a bigger enclosure :) Plus, second enclosure for something! And they stack! Win wins :D

They are stackable, which is part of the reason I'm so excited about them :D I have to keep whatever I have in my room so I'm operating on limited space- tubs and stackable tanks will be in my future :)

Is the proper name for those things "Visionariums?"

I'd love to have something stackable, but also visible to the inside. How does the heating work with them being stacked like that?

Portland, Oregon?? If so, me, too! I can't find anything like that... If you see any and pick one up for me(I'd pay whatever it costed plus an extra $20) or you could just send me a link in a PM, and it'd be much appreciated :)

Hope I'm allowed to post that.... Rip 'er off if I'm not. There are some other pretty cool looking products as well.

Anyway, looks like a pretty decent product. Still not exactly sure how the heating would work though. However, they do have recessed tops/lids. So, you can use lamps of some sort. Personally, that don't fly with me and I doubt it would work to put heating pads in those recesses to go from one level's top to the bottom of the next...

Someone with a little more knowledge, practical know-how or experience with the product lend us a hand?

This is the bottom of one of the cages with a heat pad stuck on there. I think it will be fine? The bottom where its stuck is recessed a little from the feet so there is airflow and the heatpad isn't directly on the other cages top. Theres also a cut hole for a probe cord :)

One thing I found out retroactively... it doesn't have the two locks so I have to by them from the supplier which is a little annoying but not enough to make me regret the purchase. Oh noes. I might spend as much as i would have on ONE cage on two with extras and locks :P

Pretty cool! I may look into these! Btw, I'd recommend a heat mat that's a lil' bigger. Looks like that one would only heat his/her hide space

Yup, I just slapped that on to give an idea what it'd look like :) I'm going to get her a bigger mat

Yeah the zoomed heat pads should work fine, they can get pretty hot though, I melted the bottom of a plastic container with one once. You'll need a thermostat to regulate the heat. If that's a hot rock I see in the bottom cage in that picture, I'd clip off the cord and use it as a decoration.

Very nice pickup. I actually haven't seen these before, granted I don't do much looking around for anything with glass. Nice though and even better that they're stackable.

So, stupid question possibly, do the heat mat sizes matter with a thermostat? I think the one on there is a zoo med 10-20l. Would their 30-40l hurt the cage?

I think the best bet for most of these questions would be to just e-mail the manufacturer and ask them. I posted a link to the website. If you're interested, surely they could tell ya'.
