NEW SNAKE! (My First BP)
Hey all!
I had a fantastic time at the CRBE in Toronto today. It was the first show I've been to, but it was so amazing - and big.
I brought home this little gem!
Male pinstripe, 116 grams, born end of June. He's already had three+ meals of f/t rats as well! He's very calm, despite being in blue.

I can DEFINITELY see why people become attached to this breed of snake. There were so many to choose from, and three in particular I couldn't take my eyes off of... but this was the first one I was interested in and held, and I liked the breeders of this one the best. He was also the only pinstripe I liked. I was attracted to the cinnamons and pewters (ya right).
Such a fantastic day. I hope everyone who went found what they were looking for, and left as happy as I did! :D
Thanks for looking/reading!

He's gorgeous!! I am so glad that you had such a great time and found such a beautiful boy to bring home

Congrats on the new snake.Hes a looker might i add.You know what happens next once you get one you can't stop it's a disease..

Thanks Bowlshot! I was chatting with one breeder who said he started with one, had 5 within the month, and at 3 years has over 30! Thankfully (or not?) my wallet isn't so forgiving... so I may not have the same issue ;)
-
Awesome!!! Let the addiction begin!

Cute little Pin. My first snake was a pinstripe, too, and within two weeks I had a nice long list of other morphs and species I want but can't get yet. I shouldn't even have my 50% SD Retic, but I just couldn't pass him up and brought him home without permission. Luckily my parents are very forgiving. Don't worry, you'll be getting more! XP

Nice pickup! Who was the breeder? (It's always nice to give credit where credit is due)
-
He's from a breeder at Mike's Reptile Racks
http://www.reptileracks.ca/index.htm
A husband and wife team (I think it was Mike who bred him, but unfortnately in all the excitement, I asked every question except for the guy's name! Silly me...) They have been hobbying BPs since 2008, he said.
:)

Nice pick-up.
I am not sure but, I think it might have been you I was talking about BP's with at the expo. Then again it may have been someone similar to you looking to get her 1st snake.
Either way, congrats and thanks for sharing your new pet with us.

Raven01, did you have a booth?
He's my first BP (although I only have one other snake, a corn). I was walking around with my partner, a blondish guy about my height.
But thank you! :)

Re: NEW SNAKE! (My First BP)
No booth. I was shopping myself. I came home with a feisty female lesser and the gf picked up a pair of new Cresties.
And, now I am pretty sure it was just as similar looking woman I was speaking with because she said she had no snakes so, I suggested that a Corn or BP is a perfect starter snake in my opinion.

Very nice addition. Pinstripes are always nice.

I believe you purchased it from Drew at CBPythons.

Thanks everyone!
And now that I pull out the card, you are correct Rickeys_Reptiles! They must have been partnered together.
:)
Sorry about the mix up.

Sorry about the mix up.
Just Ricky is fine :)
I'm sure that pin is going be even better a week from now. Just keep that humidity up.
-
Thanks again Ricky - will do! Or at least, trying to...
I thought it would be easy, having had 80% humid days earlier this month. Now it's down to 40%. Luckily I've got a humidifier next to the tank :)

Andrew at CBpythons.com :)
EDIT: looks like Ricky already answered!

I will be in contact with them in the next couple of weeks, to give them an update and whatnot (as they've requested)! :)
I suppose I should actually find out his name... haha! Not my best move.

A Name
I think I have landed on a name...
Like my other snake, I had this name picked out beforehand, but wanted to make sure it suited him. After looking up cities in Africa (because I thought one might make a nice name), and randomly finding the name of a city that is the SAME as the name I had in mind -- albiet spelt differently -- I believe I have landed:
Beau (meaning "handsome" in French, also Bo, the city in Sierra Leone).
