    Help with ID of this BP please
    Guy I went an purchased this snake from said that it was a "Het Caramel Albino."
    An this site is the only place I can get answers from as I am still learnin all this morph stuff.

    Unfortunately we won't really be able to help with this one. Caramel albino is a recessive morph, and by definition hets look the same as wild type. The only way to verify its genetics is to prove it out through breeding.

    You are correct. But you'd have to bred him to a visual or het caramel albino to know

    Just an FYI, that will result in poss het albinos, no visuals.

    I might be misunderstanding you, but just to be clear - breeding a het male to a normal female will only produce possible het babies. You cannot produce a visual caramel albino without breeding the het male to a het or visual female. If you just meant that you hope to buy a visual female, then save up and welcome to the addiction! :rolleye2:

    I understand the confusion. When you say you "hope to get" one, it sounds like you might mean that you hope to get one in your clutch. It would be better to say that you hope to obtain one, or hope to purchase one ;) Good luck with your new guy, he's very pretty!
