    Did USPS lose my package?
Not a live animal shipment. Just a little toy I'm waiting on, but figured I'd ask here to see if anyone had any insight. My package was shipped first class. It was suppose to arrive yesterday.

This is the what I found odd:

    http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/11/7u7enegu.jpg

It says it was checked into the Louisville post office September 8th, then departed the post office on the 9th.. then it says it was checked BACK into the same post office on the 9th, and it hasn't moved since. Anyone know why this would happen? If the shipping tracking hasn't been updated or I haven't received my package by Thursday, I'm gonna try to find this post office's number n give em a call. or would that even do me any good?

USPS is notoriously horrid about updating their tracking. I'd give it another day then call. I had the same issue with it going back and forth to the sort facility. I had a package of live fish shipped, and it was supposedly still in California when I swung by the PO. Lucky for me, they had it waiting in the office for me :)

First class shouldnt take 5 days. I'd be on the phone getting my refund.

    800-275-8777

Then just explain your problem. Make sure you have your tracking number, they'll ask for that.

This and sometimes that doesnt even connect you to a live person and dont even think about talking to the robot it will just tick you off and she will hang up on you anyways. Its hard to believe our goverment runs our mailing and its so poor, but hey if they wanna find you hiding the mail system comes in handy real quick.

They won't help you they will just tell you what you are reading on a app ect... Then if you call your local post office haha you have to deal with a 90 year old lady who cant hear you on the phone and cant work a computer to put in your tracking number...

OOOOOO the joy of getting my herpstat2 sent thru USPS 2 weeks ago. GL Matt:gj:

It might have been because I was off peak hours then but man it was a PIA to find my package with them. Ill try it next time if I need to talk to them, hopefully I wont have to though.

O and I don't think they lost it yet because it would say in the system attempted delivery ect then they take it to your post office. I think they are just a couple days behind and it looks like it is still traveling.

First Class from California always takes 5-7 days to reach me in Michigan. I think you might be confused with Express or Priority. They do not guaranty a time with First Class, just give you a time frame and I think it's like 2-14 days. You sometimes get a tracking number if it's sent with delivery confirmation. I deal with this stuff all the time. I sell on Amazon.com.
