    Amazing Clowns
So I bought a pair of het clowns back in Jan 2010 and I have been raising the female up for three years now (seems like forever).

This year my female finally laid her first clutch of eggs. Six nice eggs laid back in July and I am very happy with the results.

Hope the reduced pattern is genetic. Hope everyone enjoys the pics. Thanks

I think you need to raise up that female and male and plug him into her in 2-3 years and find out if its genetic or not. I love me some clowns, Ill have my reduced male at the end of this month once hes payed off.

x2. if its the same "reduced pattern" gene that sean bradley is working into his clown stuff, this is what the supers look like.

I got the hets from Alice Cobb at Florida Reptile Room. I will get some pics of the parents. The female is getting ready to shed so I will take them once she is done shedding.

And yes I am keeping both. ;)

That's who I got my clown off of :gj:... Ive been paying on him since July. I'm sure you know how much they cost and yes I sold my leg three toes and soon a kidney to finish off the payment.

Here's hoping to your clowns being genetic reduced.

I saw those clowns in Daytona they are sweet. I was so hoping my babies would hurry up and hatch after I saw those.

Now I have to wait for the male to put on some size so I can make my own hets and hopefully the reduced pattern will continue. Time will tell.

Those are the ugliest clowns I have ever seen. Just send them both to me and you will not have to look at the two ugly creatures ever again. Really they are amazing. You have a very nice pair. The offer is still there for you, I can make them go away for you.:D

Thanks everyone....Here is an updated pic of them. They are getting close to 200g now and they are way too ugly to send to anyone so I am just going to keep them here for a while. ;)

Nice odds, it took me 5 clutches of eggs before my het pair produced a live clown hatchling.

Wow, I don't think I could wait that long. My Het Caramel clutch was a disaster and I did not hit any VPI Axanthics in that Het pairing so this het clown clutch made up for those two failures.

    Amazing clowns!!

You `ve waited five clutches?? Wow, that`s the spirit...I would have given up a lot sooner asking if they are really hets.....

well the 2nd clutch produced a clown that was dead in the egg so I knew I actually had hets. Took three more clutches before producing a live one.

I have a pair 1.1 of hets coming from Deborah Stewart and Im so excited I know Ill have to be patient but Thats the only waybI can afford to get that gene right now and clowns are my favorite now for resale value but just because I love that morph. And it sure makes it easier knowing they are coming from Deborah someone I can trust on the hets and quality as well.
