    $400 for clown?
Would 400 be a good deal on a male clown? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/09/ju6a3ydu.jpg

He's fair at best. No head pattern and kinda drab looking for a Clown.

Save for something a bit nicer.

Not bad but I'd pass and hold out for a better (probably more expensive) guy.

Most would be selective especially if being purchased for breeding projects. There are some really nice looking clowns out there for a little more than the current offer on the table. I would hold out, but it's your $$$. Best of luck. :)

Yes he is nice, however I would look for a better one if you plan to breed.

He's not too bad, but I'm not big on clowns so I couldn't tell you the quality.

He's not the best clown I've seen, probably why he's so cheap. Personally I would pass. But I'm pretty picky about clowns.

So many clown posts today I think I'm at a circus!!!!:juggle:

Again I think clowns are like pieds and its about preference on how reduced or how busy they are. If you like him pull the trigger, its your cash.

I know that the big thing these days are 'reduced pattern ' clowns, but personally I like a busier pattern especially when mixed with other morphs

I completely agree. I kind of dislike the super reduced lines.

Me four. The teardrops on clowns are what make them clowns to me, and while the reduced ones are nice with that wide back stripe, I just don't see the point in purchasing an animal without (imo) the characteristics that make it that morph.

Exactly, that's how they got the name in the first place, clown teardrops. The reduced pattern ones are nice, but if I wanted a striped snake, I'd get a genetic stripe or a super stripe.
