Feel lucky...
So long story short I rolled my truck last night (5 times) and am
in need of a new vehicle. Any suggestions? I need something cheap and SAFE. I completely crushed the cab and am glad no one was with me because they wouldn't have made it. I'm surprised I even did...

Omg! Wow... glad you're ok! Xterra's are nice. Have you looked into them?

I've only had an Isuzu Axiom and my Ford Ranger that I rolled. The air bags never deployed so Idk if that's a good thing or not. I'll post pics when I go get my stuff out of it. What's left in it anyway.

Cheap and safe? Find an older but good running car/truck that has front and side airbags and is new enough to have crumple zones engineered into the car. Despite what people say, the big "tanks" built back in the day are not safer than modern cars...
Other than that....invest in driving lessons? Not a slam, just a suggestion...
Glad you made it out okay.

I swerved into a ditch to miss a deer. Should've just hit it...

You rolled your truck, the air bags didn't go off, and you walked away. That's how it's designed. If you ran head first into a tree and the airbags didn't go off, then you'd have a problem...
The airbags are controlled by sensors that measure g-forces and determine if the impact is severe enough that the airbags should be deployed or not.

Hard to say man...what if you did just plow into the deer? What's to say it doesn't come through the windshield and kill you?
You walked away...I wouldn't dwell on the would have's, could have's, should have's...way too many variables...just count your blessings. :D

SO glad that you are okay!! :O

Glad your alive, best thing I can tell you as far as a vehicle is to try craigslist. List about 700 over your top price so you can talk them down.

Wow... Looks like the only part of the cab not completely crushed was the driver's side. You're lucky to have made it out okay.

You're super lucky, wow! Glad you're alright!
My car got totaled a couple weeks ago (rear ended and then pushed into a vehicle in front of me) and I just recently found a new car. Insurance was really slow with us due to the complexity of the accident. :/
Anyway, what I recommend is buying a 1 month subscription to autocheck.com so you can run every VIN number of vehicles you are interested in, especially when you're buying from private parties. It'll show you if it's been in accidents, if it's been to auction, rebuilt title, recalls, etc. Just good stuff to know.
I watched Craigslist, Autotrader.com, and Cars.com with a price range up to about 500-800 dollars over what cash I had on hand. I ended up buying a little 2005 Ford Focus SE ZX5 / 5-speed manual off of a dealership. It was everything I wanted, low mileage, one owner, and I got a big discount. You just have to be able to jump on cars that look good right away, because good cars usually don't hang around long. If you're worried about safety, find a few cars you're interested in inside of your budget and start researching the safety ratings for that model.
Just make sure to do your homework and check every VIN you come across. Be picky!

Daaaaayum! God was looking out for you bro. Must be something important you got to do. :)

Holy shiza! Definitely count your blessings.
Are you wanting to stick with a truck? I've got a 2010 Charger and love it.

I'm glad you walked away from that!
I totaled my 98 Cobra doing the same thing. Note to self, no animal is worth losing your life over.

I ended up getting a '99 Escort. So far I love it but it's a money pit... Had to replace a tire and a tire rod and next is sway bar linkage.
