2 new additions. Super excited about these guys.....

I just added 2 males to the group, and I absolutely love both of them. :)

Up first is a bumblebee, "Xavier," who I ordered from SinSitySnakes when he was only 3 days old, hatched 7/8/13. He finally got all his meals under his belt and I received him August 30.

This is definitely what sold him to me (besides the fact that his dad is as pretty as he is. ;) )



OK. Next up is a fire spider "Diablo" who I unfortunately cannot do justice to by taking pictures. He is amazing. He hatched 6/20/12 and checks in at just under 500 grams. Provided he puts on the needed weight, I plan on hooking him up with my pastel girl next season.

Both boys have a moderate wobble when they get excited, but it doesn't bother me. I love both of them as they are. Xavier is an absolute sweetheart and is one of the calmest snakes I have. Diablo is friendly but very curious. Photographing him was an adventure. :)

Thanks. He's docile as any I've handled, and his dad is a total stud of a bee so I see only good things in his future. ;)

Oh wow! Both of those boys are smokin' hot! I have a soft spot for Bees and can't wait until I can start producing my own. Absolutely love the colors on the Fire Spider.

It really does. The first time he looked straight at me it seriously looked like there were 2 faces looking at me.

The coolest thing about Xavier is that I've been watching him since he hatched out. I actually found him via this video. Skip to 9:10 in the video and you'll see him. :)

He was from a bumblebee x normal pairing in which 5 out of 11 babies turned out to be bumblebees. You can see his dad on some of the guy's other videos and he is as pretty as Xavier is.

I the only one seeing a termite head? I love bugs so diggin that stamp. :gj:
