I may be a young buck but the eagles are definitely one of the greatest rock bands of all time. You gotta listen to the old stuff to appreciate the new.

    Walkman right now:

No Doubt Rarities, part of the Special Edition Boom Box release ^_^ Its got rare songs, B-sides, never released songs, and songs done for movies.

CD-Player has 3 CD's in it right now:

    Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

The Darkness - Permission to Land - I believe in a thing called love, Love on the Rocks, Stuck in a Rut are all great songs.

Jack Off Jill - Sexless Demons and Scars - I love the vocals on this album, regardless of some of the things they sing about.

I have a ton of other CD's though. Most recently listened to include:

    No Doubt - Self Titled
    No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
No Doubt - Beacon Street Collection
No Doubt - Return of Saturn
    No Doubt - Rock Steady
No Doubt - The Singles 92-04 - Boom Box
No Doubt - All Good Things in Time - Boom Box
    Linkin Park - Meteora
    KoRn - Follow the Leader

I wonder if anyone can tell what my favorite band is o_O

Greenman! Good to see a guy not afraid to embrace the feminine. Tori and Bjork are awesome. If you haven't seen Tori live, I highly recommend it. She's even BETTER live than she is on her recordings. I had Fiona's Tidal at some point, but it's long gone now.

Wow, lots of No Doubt on the board. I'm a somewhat old school No Doubt fan, I've listened to them since like 1994, I'm from Orange County. I've seen them play probably around 30 times and met them on several occasions. They're a great band.

Anyway, what's in my cd player now?
In my house, Dance Hall Crashers (Lock Jaw), which is really weird, because I haven't listened to that cd in years, and I just happened to pull it out from the way back of my cd collection.

Tracy Bonham (The Bee ep) is in my car.

In my cd case: Red Hot Chili Peppers(Blood Sugar Sex Magik)
    Venus Hum (Big Beautiful Sky)
No Doubt (The Beacon Street Collection)
    Bob Marley (Legend)
    Blue Man Group (The Complex)
    Sublime (Robbin the hood)
    NIN (The Fragile)

    Among others...

Holy sheet o_O lots of ND fans ^_^ I've been a fan ever since I first saw "Just a Girl" video on MTV. It was my personal quest to find out who did that song! After that, it was pretty much ND all the time ^_^

I like Garbage too! I went to the ND Concert in Worcester, MA in '02 I think it was? Where Distillers and Garbage were opening for ND. I hate to say it cause I know theres alot of ppl who like Distillers, but man, they SUCKED that night. Horrible horrible o_O Then Garbage came out and just rocked ^_^ Pumped everyone up for ND when they came up through the floor O_O

Anyway, I like any rock band with female vocals. Dunno what it is, just that feminine tone that gets me. I like Katy Rose too o_O I heard her on that Cingular commercial and I like to listen to that now ^_^ Who says commericials don't make u buy things ^_-

But seriously, if u don't mind some...explicit lyrics, and colorfull topics, then seriously listen to some Jack off Jill. Something about that whiney, high pitched, girly sound I can't help but love o_O

Hey Caren, if you like Evanescence, you should check out a band called "Lacuna Coil" They're from Italy and are a metal band with female vocals. Its got a real ambient sorta sound to it, pretty heavy too.

I currently have the soundtrack to "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" in the CD player.

John Williams went for a more medieval theme to the music for this movie, and it has at least one or two pieces with some nice traditional flute work.

In my CD player in the car right now is Usher's new joint. In the CD player in my house, Gun-n-Roses Use Your Illusion 2. If I look over at my CD collection, it ranges from Led Zepplin, The Beatles (greatest band EVER), Eric Clapton & Pink Floyd to GNR, Mettalica & some old school Bon Jovi & Poison to Eazy-E & NWA to TIm Mcgraw & Toby Keith to 1993 Dre & Snoop era stuff to Linkin Park, 3 Doors down & that style to Tupac's Makavelli joint & up through Da Band's first release (which turns out is gunna be their only one) & right up to Usher, every Eminem you can think of & 50 & the G-unit. So, as you can see, we run the musical Gammet! Hell, I even have some Mozart in the collection for those times when I need to relax.

Velvet Revolver right now. Its Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots on vocals, and 3/5th of the original Guns and Roses lineup in Slash, Duff McKagan, and Matt Sorum. Its pretty good.
