I thought buying more would ease this...
I thought buying more snakes would ease my wanting for more snakes. If anything it has me looking MORE for snakes. I'm seriously debating on emailing someone if their clown female is still available. I just bought my leo girl and I'm about to buy a pastel axanthic. That leaves one more opening in the second T8 I'll be getting soon. Then I absolutely need to stop until I have my own house. (may be 2-3 years depending on how quickly I can get in and through the nursing program then find a job). I saw a pied male today with a pattern that I need and he's only 450 and he would be a cross with the leo girl for leo pieds. Then eventually I need to get an axanthic fire male to get my firefly axanthics and he'll be put to pretty much every combo. Axanthic clowns, axanthic leos, axanthic ocellots, axanthic leopard pinstripes, etc.

Can I be a nurse now?

I know the feeling. I only kept about 6 snakes while I was in school and as soon as I graduated my collection exploded.

its hard to keep the number down, especially if you have the space. I say go ahead and fill up the cages you have and then you won't be able to buy any more ;)

The only thing that has gotten me to stop is that I no longer have even a little spot left for one more animal. No more room at the inn! But, like you and your future house, I have a two bedroom apartment on the horizon that has me dreaming of a room full of tegus and more leopard geckos and cresties and who knows, maybe I'll get turned on to boas, and then maybe I'll want retics next...and bloods and then, well I'll have to have some frogs, and Oooo, I could totally get hooked on the venomous guys!! Remember that book, "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie..."? That's us hahah!

It's impossible not to want more, especially as more and more beautiful new combos come out and cool projects...it's truly a sickness!! ;)

I cannot express my happiness that all of your future plans are in black and white ;). We can do swaps in the future! :D

I'm in the same boat, I just agreed to a trade for a cute butter ghost male, I offically need another rack.

I've let my husband have his way with the "No" to any new snakes for now. I never intend to breed so only having two display tanks fits...for now. That being said, I've already announced plans for a library/ snake room at my next new house when he retires. That's when I'll fight back on his "No" since I run the family business and plan to move it with me.

    These x2!!!

I have a pair of full T8s right now, and the only realistic shopping I can do is rack shopping. No harm in window shopping for snakes though, which is pretty much a constant. :D

Haha I've gotten out of breeding like twice now... I had about 60 snakes... Sold them off because I couldn't decide what direction to go and had too may projects... Got back in and focused on one or two things.. Then decided I wasn't happy with what I had going so I sold 80% off and just kept a few as Pets... Then i go to Daytona two weeks ago and I only took animals to get rid of... long story short i come home with a banana YB, two super stripe girls, and now this week just got 2 huge YB girls, and one big mojo female. And now I need something to put with the mojo so I'm needing another male lol it never stops.. Oh and I need a puma female as well lol
