    Long term project
What's up guys I'm looking for a long term project that will take some time to produce. I'll take any morphs the worst I can say is I don't like it, but I just want a morph project that will produce something beautiful.

    The Serpent Merchant
KillerBee Mojave (super pastel x spider x mojave)

Adding genes like fire, enchi, and/or yellowbelly would make it even better.

Another cool long term project could be bumblebee clown:

Or Firefly clown (pastel x fire x clown):

All my long term projects are Double Recessive one I am exciting about starting this coming season is pairing my Clown male to my Female Hypo Enchi.

Ultimate goal Hypo Super Enchi Clown.

There are many long term projects some that already exist and some that YOU can make happen if you have the patience.

Personally I'd like to produce a Lesser X Enchi X Clown X Orange Dream someday. It should take me quite a few years, but it's good to have goals.

My long-term project is to get myself a panda pied or two. After I get them, who knows.

You should go for a Nuclear Clown (Butter x Fire x Clown). From my understanding it has not been produced yet.

Double recessives are great long term projects. Pick the two that you like the best and buy a hatchling visual female of the less expensive one now. Wait about a year to a year and a half then buy the male of the other one. Breed when they are old enough and hold back all the female babies and a male or two. With some luck you will have your target double recessive in 6 or so years.

    Axanthic Super OD Fire
    Axanthic Super OD Fire Piebald

This must be the snake I'm dreaming of. I'm confident OzzyBoids will produce that some when, since it'll take years for me.

Good idea! Might I suggest adding spider :gj:. Not too many people are working with genetic stripes these days, so that's just a bonus to your plan :gj:.

I'm hoping for a super enchi lesser fire ultramel :D.. Ultimate goal of course.. One day..

If you want a real long term project go for snow stripe!

I've seen snows surprisingly reasonably priced. I've really been wanting to pick one up but doesn't look like I'll have a good enough year to swing it this year.

Actually quad hets are what I would really like to have but buying a pair of complementary double homozygous animals to produce them is going to take me a while. Maybe if you start on a double homozygous project by the time you produce on that you could trade for a different double homozygous. Like start out with an albino female (might as well shop around for one possible het stripe since most buyers seem to hate possible hets you might even get it cheaper than straight albino). Then pick up a striped male possible het albino the next year. If you don't get lucky on either side at least you have double hets from that pair (if you do get luck you might have stripes het albino or albino het stripe to really increase your odds next generation). When you eventually start producing the 1 in 16 albino stripes trade one for a true ghost (hypo axanthic) and produce quad hets with a holdback albino stripe. Sure those quad hets only have a one in 256 chance per egg of producing a hypo snow stripe (not sure you could even tell if hypo) but the variety in the clutches while you are working on that would be stunning.

    Long term:
    Hypo ultramel enchi firefly
    Hypo clown super enchi

Not as long term but working on it:
Hypo super enchi firefly (and other hypo super enchi combos)

my long term project.. super OD clown. hasn't been produced yet but i got my money on it being a beautiful animal. maybe some fire or leopard thrown in there too if i'm lucky. but the super OD clown will already be the statistical equivalent of hitting a double recessive. :rolleye2:

As far as long term projects go, I would shoot for a double or triple recessive depending on how ambitious you are and how much patience you have!
