    Caging?

I would go with Animal Plastics. After getting my shipment in, I don't think I'll shop anywhere else.

You should look both companies up on the BOI at Fauna Classifieds. Boa Master seems to have quality control problems. Boaphiles are great cages and he seems to have few problems, except with communication. He doesn't answer email and is hard to get a hold of by phone anymore. If you order one of his products like the 422, 421, or Ballroom rack, he has short wait times. Other sizes take about as long as AP and most other companies. The thing is if he loses your order, you have a problem with the cage you receive, or their is a delay in manufacture he is hard to get ahold of and people have gotten very upset with him. I have a room full of Boaphiles and love them, but you have to be aware of potential problems dealing with Jeff.

I would go with Animal Plastics as well great products and customer service.

As for the others check the reviews on the BOI http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13 and be the judge.

You have to assemble them however AP products are VERY easy to put together.

Boa master has a long record of piss poor customer service. So, be prepared for that.

I have Boaphile, Vision and Animal Plastics. Racks and cages of each.

AP stands far above the others with product and service. Vision comes in at a very close 2nd with customer service.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Pro-Line from Constrictors NW.

I looked at them all. The Pro-Line had the best price for the size and uses superior HDPE plastic. It's the best plastic around in my opinion. Nothing sticks to the plastic so it's easy to clean.

My cage was EASY to set up. It looks like this.

I have a step by step setup thread I can link you to.

Ed Lilley's customer service is excellent. He called me when I setting up my cage. He answers e-mails, calls and texts.

I will say AP also has great customer service.

This 4' X 2' X 14" cage came to my door including delivery price for $263. That included my extra 3 sets of perch holders and a lock.

14"s of height is really nice for a boa in a 4 foot cage. You can jump to 18" but I'm seeing good headroom with 14" and perches.

I SO agree with everything that's been said so far. My first choice for caging is Constrictors NW / ProLine. Ed is terrific to work with and the quality of his caging is hard to beat.

Animal Plastics is a great choice as is pvccages.com and Vision.

I would never in a million years order from Boa Master - way too much quality control issues. And Boaphile is just too hard to work with as far as communication.

    Just an FYI,

I posted a separate NEW thread. I reviewed my cage and buying experience in a step by step type of review including purchase, assembly, completion and customer service.

I started a new thread just in case this one falls off the radar and I wanted the review up front and not at the bottom of the thread.

I will answer any questions people have.

Just make sure the inside is sealed well otherwise the first time your boa overflows the water bowl you'll have water all over the floor. If they haven't done it, it's easy to do. I never had a mess with my false water cobra's AP cage and they are MESSY!

OK, $125 is pretty hard to beat. I'd re-seal that whole thing just to have it done yourself. Check and recheck cords heat tape/UTH of RHP if it's already installed.

    Power everything up including lights.

If it has none of those items $125 is a hell of a deal.

I'd say do it as long as the cage is in good condition.

i'm gonna say Animal Plastics as well. Ali has always returned my emails and phone calls immediately except for one time, which she apologized for profusely. Their products are top notch as well as their customer service. I've had a bad enough experience with boaphile that he'll never see another penny of my money. ;) and i can't sing enough praise about animal plastics. you won't be disappointed.
