the "eclipse" was what mike first called the combination of genes in that snake.. so that snake was the original "eclipse," but the new gene in it that gives the snake that head split and "separates" the different genes in the snake is a recessive mutation wilbanks' has named Atomic.

Thanks for sharing I was in Disney World with the kids while Daytona was goin on. Animal kingdoms reptile exhibit was pathetic I've seen more specimens in people's houses that's how bad it was.
Talked to a couple people on the plane ride down who was taunting me that I couldn't come

Disney??? This show was like Disney for a herper....minus rides of course ;) ....too bad you missed it. We went to the show both days and the auction, and never bothered to go to Disney lol...

That framed picture is actually just a print that the artist personally signed. Her name is Cid Snook. She only had one, but she had some other original works of other reptiles. Its entitled "Billiard Buddies". And as soon as we saw it, we couldnt pass it up!! Thats one thing i really enjoyed about this show...there was a lot of "snake stuff" there for the enthusiast. So even if you didnt take home a new ball, you could still take home plenty of snake shirts, wallets, jewelry, art, etc,. Thats one thing that lacks at the shows here. I love getting new snake stuff. Between the two of us, i think we also picked up like 10 new tshirts lol.
