Thought I would share a pic of a couple of babies that just crawled out of their eggs.

Sweet combo but how would you tell the vanillas from the discos in the baby combos you produce?

    Thank you Mike.

Depending on the combo, I'm sure there will be some challenges, maybe even with this clutch. All the babies are YB since the sire is an Ivory. The two triples are easy to call and it appears that of the remaining four, two are combos. Hopefully, after they shed things will be a little more clear. :confuzd:

    Thanks John!

If they decide to leave home, I'm sure they would love living in Bama. ;)

Thanks Nikki! Very nice Fire YB. There are definite similarities in the Fire and Disco combos as there should be since they are allelic. Good luck with your Fire YB.

Thanks Kevin! I like the Vanilla gene too. We've got another clutch with Vanilla in the mix due to hatch soon. (day 51) Hoping there are some screamers in that clutch. :please:

Thanks Coleslaw! I think we're going to see some smokin' Disco combos when we get a few more genes in the mix.

Louis, are you saying these are Vanilla Disco YBs? And the sire was a Ivory? Maybe I misread it. I was going to comment about what a difference Disco is with vanilla compared to disco fire. Get the pattern but lose the white. Sharp looking snakes though! Congrats!!!!

Thanks Robin! I think Discos will be a part of some amazing combos as we begin to get some extra genes worked into allelic combos that unlock the Disco "magic".

Keep up the great work you guys are doing with The Reptile Report. It's a great asset to our community. :gj:

Yes, these are Disco Vanilla YBs. The sire is a Vanilla Ivory and the dam is a Disco. I wasn't at all surprised by the more subtle expression of the Vanilla gene in combination with the Disco compared with the Fire and Disco. I actually expected it.

    Thanks!

I don't believe I had mentioned where the Vanilla gene came into the mix in this thread so you had no way to know. Thanks again!
