Check out a clip i made... recorded the guitar part, burned it onto a cd, then re-recorded the drums with the guitar blaring on my stereo... horrible quality, but a fun tune.... and one of my first attempts at making anything like this. so feedback would rock...
and thanks to Smulkin for hosting it for me...

oh yeah, almost forgot. the drums suck bc they are electric.
-
wheres the big ones?
Pretty sweet, man! I didn't know you played (assuming it's you on drums and guitar) what'd you use to get the voice for the guitar? Been playing for about 15 years myself........not great shakes on drums, but my dad is awesome. Has a beautiful set of Pearl Customs *drool*
Was a good little tune, how long have you been playing?
-
i've been playing for about as long as i can remember, and i'm 19 now... the 'voice' you speak of was probably from the flange on the amp. i'm much more of a drummer than a guitarist, some people are just born with good rythem. i sharpened it up through high school playing the snare or bass, wherever i was needed... now i just mess around in my basement. but hit me up if you ever wanna talk music... i'm all for some good music.
-
Just the amp's flange, huh? Thought perhaps you were using a synth..........sounds good.
Yeah, rythm is the key. I can carry a beat on the drums, but would need a set in the house to get good and godly, LOL. My next purchase will hopefully be an accoustic/electric 12 string. Man those twelves are sweeeeet!
Oh, in case your interested, here's a shot of my dad's set......he was thinking about selling it and getting a different set so I took some pics for an ad that never got around to being placed.

heavy duty screen top?
wow. beautiful drums. i've been trying to get another acoustic set, i'm currently playing on the worst thing i've ever had to play on... roland td-5 electrics. trust me, you don't care to see them. lol... but man, if i had those pearls you guys would forget about me, i'd never be on the computer anymore.
-
oh steel, you're right about the 12 string. i have a 12 acoustic that's sitting right now, haven't had the time to get some strings since the last time i got drunk. lol...

Sweet! That's what I'm talking 'bout! *drool* LOL, don't let the sun go down today without some new strings on that...........Led Zep's "over the hills and far away" sounds best on a freshly strung 12 8) I'd say "bron yr aur" but if you've ever heard that little accoustic ditty you'd have to agree only Page can play it right, lol.

Cool! I always love finding out that people are musicians.

1 OLD Ibanez RG150 outfitted with a Seymore duncan '57 humbucker at the neck, a '50's strat single in the middle, and the Jeff Beck signature humbucker at bridge.
1 Martin DR-1 acoustic fitted with Fishman blender pick-up (it's about five years old - the blender blends a condenser mic that is inside the guitar with a natural acoustic pick up that is at the bridge. Well condensers don't really exist much these days... so I guess it's a capacitor mic if we wanna be technical :)
1 Fender Twin amp (Black face 100watt with 1/4 power switch)
onto the pedals haha...
1 Ibanez TS9 Remake
1 Bad Horsey II wah
1 MXR Phase 90
1 MXR DynaComp
1 Boss TU-2 (BEST PURCHASE EVER - GREAT TUNER)
1 Boss Orange distortion pedal I don't really use anymore
Here's a cool trick run the tubescreamer (in my case TS9) before the compressor (compressors cut off the volume of a wave to keep everything the same volume.... the radio compresses the CRAP out of stuff) and this way you can crank your tube screamer and get a great sound with a bit less volume plus your sustain is crazy and feedback plentiful. Trey Anastasio uses this trick as well. I'm saving up for one of those sweet delay modules that Line6 puts out. For a great country sound just use a strat or strat pick up through a super compressed pedal... give you ubertwang :) Both my brother and father own acoustic and electric guitars as well plus we have a drum kit, keyboard, 2 basses and 1 bass amp. :)

UPDATE:
I am sure that is a annoyence to drummers but in my mind the test of a good drummer is if they can play the beginning of "Hot For Teacher". Thats Van Halen in case someone didn't know :headbang:
